Dr. DeTournay has extensive experience in forefoot deformities (bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, etc.), heel pain, biomechanics/orthotics, skin disorders/infections and ingrown &/or fungal toenails. She has also had long-term clinical experience with wound care and diabetic patients. Dr. DeTournay incorporates conservative homeopathic (natural) treatment methods where applicable.

Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Lisa M. DeTournay was in practice in Miami for 26 years before returning to the San Fernando Valley with her family in 2014 to establish herself in a new podiatric practice. She graduated from UCLA in 1982 with a B.S. in Kinesiology, then attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, graduating as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1987. She completed her Podiatric Surgical Residency in Miami and has been Board Certified in Foot Surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery since 1993. Dr. DeTournay is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and has been an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association since 1989.
Dr. DeTournay now specializes in making home visits in the western San Fernando Valley and Westlake /Thousand Oaks areas.
