Business Owner
A San Fernando Valley resident since 1968, Dr. Marc Gross has practiced periodontics and implant dentistry in Encino since 1989. He graduated with high honors (omicron Kappa Upsilon) from Emory University School of Dentistry and then completed his periodontal residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was Chief Resident. He was a clinical teaching professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry for 24 years.
His main influence in becoming a dentist was his pediatric dentist that he had as a child. He became a periodontist because it involves a challenging combination of science and hands-on skill. Patients have thanked him over the years for a wonderful chair-side manner and a gentle touch. He and his staff create a very calming and caring environment which has helped to forge many strong, long-term relationships amongst himself, his patients, their friends, and families.
