The people running this are very sweet! My mom accidentally got a vegan chocolate ice cream made out of coconut cream when she thought she was getting a coconut ice cream. She did not like it and asked him to throw it away. Instead he insisted on my mom picking out another flavor as an exchange. He told her he wants to make sure she is very happy with whatever ice cream flavor she picks. She then got strawberry and loved it!
I ordered the vanilla bean with cherry and chocolate chunks, a special on their menu. It was so delicious!!! Everyone was stealing bites from my ice cream cup!
Scott is very professional and prompt in returning emails regarding price quotes for private parties. He insisted that we all come out and try as many free samples as we like. He was willing to work with my budget.

Liquid nitrogen ice cream is perfect treat to beat the LA heat. If you don’t know about liquid nitrogen ice cream, it’s made to order and flash frozen right in front of your very eyes. Science is cool, amiright?!
Nitropod catered an event that I attended last night. The staff was very friendly and the ice cream did not disappoint! I ordered the salted caramel, and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. Best of all, the milk is organic from Strauss Family Creamery. It’s a little bit of the Bay Area right here in LA! They also have non-​dairy sorbet and ice cream made from avocado and coconut milk. My friend ordered the avocado chocolate and loved it! Definitely worth trying if you catch the truck in your ‘hood.

The people at Nitropod are dessert geniuses! They’ve combined two of my favorite things: ice cream & French toast. My taste buds were in heaven!

Not only was the ice cream itself so smooth & scrumptious but the presentation was awesome. You literally watch as the ice cream goes from liquid to a solid state. Had this been one of my chemistry experiments I probably would have gotten a better grade in school! Lol

Hands down the creamiest, most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had. I don’t even want to call it ice cream because it really is in a league of its own! Definitely a must try!

Organic liquid nitrogen ice cream? Now THIS is ice cream of the future. And it’s amazing! Nitropod catered a party I went to today and let me tell you it was an amazing ice cream experience. I tried every flavor they had. Many of them 2 – 3 times. Yes, I had about 10 scoops. Yes I am procrastinating going to the gym right now.
They brought all their materials and they made the ice cream from scratch right in front of us. It was probably the best consistency of ice cream I have ever had. It was super smooth and creamy, kind of like frozen custard but not as heavy, and not icy and overly-​sweet like ice cream tends to be. The ice cream here is really fresh. You can just keep eating it. 10 scoops of it. Literally.
My favorite flavors were cookies and cream and mochaccino. Some flavors are much sweeter than others like salted caramel and french toast, so I didn’t care too much for those flavors but I mean they were still amazing.

Best Ice Cream On the Whole Planet!!!

Visited this truck at a «First Friday» gathering in Venice, CA.
Truck was very clean, service was fast and very friendly.
I had the Spicy Mayan Chocolate ice cream. Best ice cream I have ever had. Very dense, creamy, no after taste, and strong flavor.
I strongly recommend this truck!

This is the best ice cream I’ve ever tried! And i mean it because i am traveling around the world about whole my life:) Avocado lime is the BOMB for me.

My coworker and I have been thinking about a fun event to host at our job and we found the best truck!
Was walking around the food trucks on Friday nights in Granada Hills, took their card and voila! Scot, who I was coordinating with, was extremely responsive with questions, quotes & addressed all concerns quickly. Today, we welcomed them with open arms & the guys in the truck were fast, efficient, accommodating and extremely friendly. When «renting» the truck, we are offered a wide range of flavors which included Avocado-​Lime (amazing & zesty!), spicy Mayan chocolate to good ol’ Vanilla Bean. They also had a bunch of cool toppings which included bacon for the adventurous. All 60+ of my coworkers loved every bite & fell in love with how unique the whole process is.
Highly recommended for catering or to stop by. Delicious and amazing customer service. Double win!

When you see the ice cream truck you have to Stop if you try this you will be addicted to it it’s so good I love it

It’s a little pricy, but very worth it! I tasted it and I can tell they make their ice creams from scratch. I don’t taste the sour aftertaste, which you can find in certain ice creams to know how fresh it it. I got the vanilla bean flavor and though it was a little sweeter than i can handle; it was the best vanilla bean i ever had. They park outside the Whole Foods in Tarzana, which gave me the chance to try it. I highly recommended anyone to try this place and the people who work here are real cool also.

Nice ice cream. I was a little nervous because I got pumpkin flavor (you know holiday season and all) and the color of the ice cream was very light. I was thinking there wouldn’t be much pumpkin flavoring but boy was I wrong. This ice cream was great. Tasted just like pumpkin and not that artifical pumpkin flavoring.

Nitropod was amazing. We Scot and team cater a group of 300+ people and it blew them away.
The ice-​cream is like nothing anyone has had before… full of flavor and fresh. A lot creamer and more delicious than most ice-​cream (which can be hard and chunky). The flavors you can make are also ridiculous: avacado, french toast breakfast what?
I definitely recommend the ice-​cream and the company for pretty much everything. You can’t go wrong.

Driving by I saw this truck parked in front of Whole Foods on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana. I’m a big fan of nitrogen ice cream and even though it was freezing outside I just had to stop and try it.
I was greeted right away by a nice man named Scott. I was craving a peanut butter flavor but unfortunately he didn’t have any tonight. So I got hot chocolate and red velvet. For these 2 scoops I paid $ 6.
As far as the nitrogen ice cream goes, the texture was different than I’m used to. When I think of nitrogen ice cream I think of thick and creamy. Here the nitrogen ice cream felt watered down. Maybe it’s because they offer organic, vegan, & kosher certified flavors? It’s a healthier option but I like to feel like I’m digging into a guilty indulgent treat when I have ice cream lol. The hot chocolate flavor was spot on and did taste like hot chocolate. However the red velvet tasted more like strawberry. Almost as if I was eating Napoleon ice cream without the Vanilla.
I’m still rating NitroPod 5 stars because it’s healthy, tasted good, and I received awesome customer service and that’s always appreciated. I saw they had an avocado flavor and I love avocado so maybe I’ll try that next time if I see them around again!
Oh and they have alcohol infused flavors! :)

Tried several flavors of Nitropod ice cream. Very surprised at how the ice cream tasted so much better then traditional ice cream. Had four different flavors and all were amazing, especially liked the avocado — a must try. The truck is amazing and service with a smile, no attitude. No more old scary ice cream trucks for me.

I have had the nitropod ice cream several times. WOW! so amazing and flavorful! avocado lime, red velvet and the dark chocolate to name a few. The nitropod itself is amazing and the product is better. Cant wait until they make it into the stores and I can get it anytime.

Amazing… I had just finished this treat when I realized that I was NOT eating ice cream but a VEGAN SORBET! The avocado lime sorbet was so creamy and smooth. It tasted better than most ice creams! And meeting Scot (founder) was an extra treat. He answered my questions and once I realized that this was truly organic and natural, I had to get it. Am excited to introduce this fine dessert to my fellow belovedfoodies. Y’all need to try this, it really is different from the desserts you’ve eaten…

The ice cream I had was amazing and the best I have tasted anywhere! It is organic and very flaverful! I had two scoops of this amazing ice cream. One was Vanilla bean and the other was french toast flavored, Wonderful and very refreshing! I give these guys a 10 +!
