I am a physician’s daughter and as a Doctors daughter I am overly sensitive to not bother a doctor or waste their time. I have all my prior records sent in advance and am very understanding because I’ve grown up seeing the demands of unreasonable patients. I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor. I was hit by car while riding my bike and have under gone every test you can imagine to find out what is wrong with my leg. I have been injected 4 times in my bursa from my original Orthopedist and told Dr. Shaw that I do not have bursitis and I know that something else is wrong. He ordered a rushed MRI and then went out of town without saying anything. I called his office every other day for my results and on the 5^th call I was told he would be out of town until the 30^th (8 days from my 5^th call). I was assured he would call me upon his return. After waiting until the 3^rd I hadn’t received a call so I called. After leaving 2 messages with no return call, I finally got a hold of the receptionist Bri (the girl who left the phony review below) who said the Doctor was waiting for part of my results. She then called me later to tell me that the Dr. didn’t call me because they couldn’t find my chart and that she was going to call me the following day. No call. I wait until the next day giving her some time to find the chart and thinking if she did lose it she would call the imaging place to get the result. I end up calling them again and she acts surprise that I’m upset and asks me what imaging place I went to. The place her and the Doctor sent me to, so she should have called them herself. I then said that I am very frustrated and am walking around in constant pain and if I don’t hear from the doctor by the following afternoon I will be going to another doctor and making sure nobody goes to Dr. Shaw. She then calls me and leaves a message saying the Dr. has diagnosed you with BURSITIS and wants you to come in for an injection. Like the 4 others I’ve already had that have done nothing because that’s not what I have. Thanks for being the most unprofessional office I’ve ever been to and absolutely the worse Doctor I have ever met. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Dr. Shaw is an amazing doctor. My husband has been going to him for nearly 3 years now for his health issues. I, too, have gone to Dr. Shaw for testing and he’s wonderful. He takes his time to listen to you and doesn’t rush you out. Definitely recommended.

Please do not go to this man. I believe he is responsible for my mother’s rapid deterioration.
