While we don’t have any pets that need actual grooming, we do have 3 cats whose nails need endless trimming and we’re too chicken to try to do it while they struggle, try to bite, and make it a very unpleasant experience for both the cats and us (2 humans against 1 cat — cat wins!) No matter what they have going on in the work area, Hector always takes the carrier, disappears with it and brings us back a mani-​pedi-​ed cat in no time flat). I tell people who do have dogs who need grooming all about The Laundromutt because I want to make sure they stay in business a long, long time! (One other review mentioned the lack of attention to posted hours — that was true when they first took over but we personally have had no problem since then.)

Worse place ever! New owners are terrible. They ignore their business hours. They open at 9 I have waited numerous times until 9:20 or later! I started noticing my dog was very resistant to going and would pull back when I gave the leash to the person behind the desk. That SHOULD have been my first clue. Worse yet, they didn’t properly comb out my long hair dog each time and little did I now but knots were forming next to her skin. The matting way deep in the hair and not visible. She had to be shaved. Mind you, I had been a loyal customer of the previous owner for 9 years. I would t trust them with my dog. Moving on.

We have been going to this same grooming location for 14 years and this is the third owners.
They are by far the best which means they are great. We have two papillons and I can’t believe they are excited when I take them every 3 – 4 weeks, not scared to death shaking.
They come out looking beautiful and smelling great.
Very happy it is not a nervous experience for either of them, any more.
Thank you guys. Very happy.
And reasonably priced.

The ABSOLUTE WORST place. I took my puppy Daisy there several times. She had long shaggy haired which I adored. We had ask for a trim once it was totally uneven. I figured she was a bit fidgety. Second time they ended up shaving all her hair off unevenly. Not only did they not trim her she was patchy. At first I didn’t even recognize her. It was very clear that I was shocked and upset. I asked them why they did that and the receptionist laughed.

We have been taking our Bich Poo to Hector even before the change of ownership. Hector talks with you beforehand to make sure he knows exactly how you want your dog groomed.
He makes note of what he did the previous visit. It’s important to talk to Hector directly and perhaps bring show him a picture or two to avoid any disappointment. We also had Alvie’s teeth cleaning done without having to put him under. Alvie jumps up on Hector’s legs before he leaves. Everyone on the staff is caring and treats your pet as if it were their own!

Average. Not impressed what so ever. Took my dog there to get a bath with the basic, teeth clean, and brush out. When I picked him up he looked as though he hadnt been brushed. I asked the receptionist if he was brushed and he said yes without asking the groomer. When I picked him up he had no bandanna which I was really disappointed. That’s the best part. I can get better quality and service for the same price elsewhere. I also noticed his teeth does not look very well brushed. I don’t trust this place to do good quality work.

Thank you laundromutt. I needed a last minute bath for my Pup. I called and they fit me in. I was a little nervous because there were not a lot of Unilocal reviews. I came to find out they are new to the area, so that is why they are lacking reviews. Dont let this stop you. This place is fabulous. My normally shy dog did not want to leave. They even brought me in the grooming area to consult the trim she needed. She was gorgeous when i picked her up. I assure you this is the only groomer my Pup will be seeing from now on.

Laundromutt is absolutely great with my half Maltese half Shih Tzu. I’m particular with the way I like the eyes, ears and tail and they cut it perfectly. Besides that, they are the friendliest! I met the to manager Eric, owner Fernando and Hector the main groomer. I liked them so much that I boarded with them for a week. They sent me pictures on a regular basis and even picked up early in the morning and delivered my little one to my house the night I got home. You simply cannot find anyone better!

Took my SMOKIE there today. Found this place on Internet and close to my house so gave it a try
My doggie looks great and he’s happy !!!
They genuinely care about your pet and his/​her well being !! A little pricey but worth every penny !!! Hector did a great job on my Smokie !!
They offer free check ups every Saturday 10 – 3 !!!
Want a grooming place that not only does a good job but also cares about your pet go here !! :-)

We used to come to the old place here and this is a million times better. The dogs do not wait in cages as there are big stalls and the staff is just awesome. They walk the dogs during their grooming and clearly love them. The makeover is fantastic and the staff is tremendous.

I used to come here when they were called pride and joy, and I still bring my mini poodle in. The old owner was nice but it always made me nervous leaving my precious little guy here because they would take him behind closed doors so you can’t see any of the grooming goings on. The new owner has remodeled and it is more open now. They are really great with my mini poodle. I like the teddy bear cut especially and the groomer even let me text him a photo of the cut I wanted for him, it came out really cute. When I picked him up he was all happy and content and barely even acknowledged his mom lol but I know that’s a good sign he was well taken care of.

Laundromutt used to be Pride’n’Joy. It’s a little hard to find, tucked away in the CVS center. The staff is friendly and seems to really care about the animals. I have taken my dogs there several times and been extremely happy. My dogs are rescue dogs and are a little bit fearful and the staff made it a pleasant experience for them. They seem very experienced and the groomer asked specifically what we wanted done. The dogs come out looking and smelling great. The best part is that the prices are reasonable!
