West Valley Cafe

I have been meaning to review here for the longest time. Great cappuccino and as my nine year old son and I can tell, the best fresh tabouli in LA!

If you visit the adjacent medical center this is the only food place within walking distance. I think this café realizes that you are trapped and is able to charge accordingly.
The selection is varied, it’s like a convenience store mixed with a burger fast food joint. You can purchase instant noodles, get a sandwich or even a cup of soup. Prices are OK, a chicken sandwich plus a bottle of juice was $ 8. The sandwich was burger sized, but I guess time is money and if you had to get in your car and drive down the road for food it would be the same. It seemed weird that the lady seemed to come up with the price on the spot and didn’t offer a receipt.
Don’t me coming back to this place anytime soon, but if I worked here I would consider packing my own lunch.

I bought a couple of sodas & a couple of snacks for me and my daughter. I can’t believe that when I came back an hour later after my doc appt, I asked for a small cup water and lady at the counter said they didn’t have any, that I had to buy a bottle. I told her that I just patronized her café and she can’t even get me a cup of water for my little girl? She walked to the sink w/​dirty utensils, turned on the faucet, and poured water in a small styrofoam cup, which she handed to me then walked away again. The chicken Lula on Wednesday I’d awesome, cheap too. Too bad they didn’t have the hummus it would have topped off the kabob perfectly.

They have really good food. I really like the breakfast burrito they make. The pastrami sandwich they have is also really good. They are very friendly people, and I will go back for their breakfast burrito and the pastrami sandwich.

Really yummy for lunch plus you don’t have to drive anywhere if you work in the building and the couple who owns the place is sweet !

i wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but if you’re in the area for a doctor’s appt or if you work nearby, this is a great place to pop in for a quick lunch. they have a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, and coffee drinks, as well as a daily special (today’s was armenian beef kebab). so far i’ve tried one of the sandwiches and one of the salads, both of which were tasty and affordable. they also stock a variety of bottled drinks and chips. service is fast and friendly. i definitely recommend! =)

If you are already in the building this is a great food option. The staff is very friendly and helpful and their food is affordable and delicious. I’ve been here a few times and everything I have had has been delicious. Love their greek special and the veggie burger!

Considering this is just a medical center café, they have good food. They have daily specials, one of the specials is a roasted chicken thats served with rice salad hummus and pita with a drink for only 7 bucks. Yum for my taste buds and my wallet!
