I visited Dr. Vilkin twice for my cracked teeth. He is very professional and kind. He quickly diagnosed what problems I had, which my dentist for the past 10 years could not identify why I had so much pain. He then in no time communicated my dentist about my problems and made suggestions.
His staff is also very nice. The office is clean and validates parking. Everyone works efficiently. I did not have to wait to see the doctor.
This is a great office with great customer services. If you want to get your teeth taken care of nicely and you feel good, this is the place to go.

For all the talk of painful root canals, Dr. J made sure I felt none. I’ve had two root canals here and without any pain. You could not ask for a better experience (obviously it’s not a great day for you since you are looking up people to do root canals).
The office staff are great and got me in the same day. I was out if the door in under two hours each time with my root canal completed.
Just go. Trust me.

Dr. BALLENS AND HIS STAFF ARE AWESOME. I had two root canals there. DR. Ballens made me feel comfortable and pain free. I was very afraid of the experience, but I was made so comfortable I actually enjoyed going there. Very clean and professional environment. Thanks for everything.

I’ve now been here a total of 4 times for two separate root canals. The first time was for an abscess in my sinus cavity. I recently had a new crown put on, unfortunately they were going to have to drill through it. My endodontist, had to go in and actually finish a root canal that my original dentist seven years earlier did not finish since my roots were pretty long. Not only did he save my crown from having to be redone but he help relieve the pain and pressure that the abscess was causing and fully completed the root canal. Its been about 6 months and I’ve had no pain there since. The root canal takes two appointments, the first one most of the work gets done. Then antibiotics settle and about a week later the job is finished. Around February 6^th of this year, I was having pain on a tooth right in front of where my root canal was done. After speaking with my regular dentist they suggested that I go back to my endodontist who did my first root canal. His name is Barry Vilkin. Dr. Vilkin was so good with me the first time I wasn’t scared to have another root canal done. After checking two of my teeth for sensitivity to cold and pressure he and I both determined that it was one specific tooth that was bothering me and causing headaches. He proceeded to do another root canal On February 12. My dentist which is actually Dr Shapiro’s office already had me on antibiotics. Dr vilken is so gentle and really make sure that I’m comfortable. I highly recommend him to all my coworkers, family and friends. I no longer scared of getting a root canal, he makes it feel like nothing. Which my husband laughed at me for.
The girls at the front desk are really sweet they also have wifi if you have a phone and nothing to do. Coffee and water is offered in the lobby, and they do usually validate your parking.
Also Dr. Vilkins assistant is very sweet she’ll choose different music playing in the background based off of your preferences and she always constantly make sure that your comfortable. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name.

I got referred to this endodontic office by my regular dentist for a specialized root canal. I was nervous, naturally, as I have always hated root canals. I thought it would be horrible and painful. But I was pleasantly surprised.
First of all, the office staff was very helpful and friendly. I arrived early, they even offered me a coffee. I have never been asked that at a doctor’s office.
Secondly, Dr. Jovicich was amazing. He was not only very friendly and put me at ease ahead of the procedure, but also was extremely knowledgeable and an expert in what he does. I felt nothing during the root canal. Not even the numbing injection hurt. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Jovicich, especially if you have a fear of root canals/​painful dental work like I did.

Okay, so today was a day full of dental visits. I’ve been in pain for three weeks and finally mustered the courage to call Dr. Jovicich. Marlena was amazing! Absolutely amazing! They got me in for a consultation within a couple of hours and then Dr. Jovicich performed the root canal as my nerve was severely inflamed and inciting referral pain throughout my face. He was so personable. They were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable and even gave me a blanket. I’d never had a root canal but if I ever need another… I will return here. I am grateful to have had such a wonderful doctor and support team delivering such top notch care.

Just had a very thorough consultation with Dr. Ballen. His technician was amazing and she partnered up with Dr. Ballen to take my X-​rays since I do not handle them well. The office staff was efficient and kind. Thumbs up!!! Dr. Ballen is patient and very educational!

The office staff is great. They really take care of their patients. They treat them like customers, which they are. I have had Dr. Vilkin perform 3 root canals and they have all gone smoothly and painlessly. While I hope to never have another one, I will return to Dr. Vilkin and his great staff.

I recently needed a root canal and never had one before, so I had to find an endodontist. I was referred to Dr. Vilkin @ West Valley Endodontics. I like most do not like going to the dentist but go begrudgingly. Dr. Vilkin and the wonderful staff at West Valley Endodontics changed all that. Rosa his assistant makes sure you are comfortable and that the music playing is what you want to listen to. Dr Vilkin, during the performance of the root canal continually asked if there was there any pain making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Wow no pain at all and I was one of the lucky ones with 4 roots to clean out. I no longer have that fear of the dentist thanks to Dr. Vilkin and his staff.

I’ve seen Dr. Ballen twice for root canals. He is a master at performing it perfectly without any pain. Also, he was able to see a very small 4^th root that my general dentist hadn’t seen. Sure it’s expensive, but well worth it
