Yogurt Zone

My friend and I were excited to try it because we had never been there before, but sadly it didn’t live up to our hopes. The girls behind the counter were more interested in their own conversation than noticing that there were two orders that needed to be placed. I tried the fudge brownie and it was watery and icy, and ended up with the French vanilla (which I must say I really enjoyed, except for the strange taste that wasn’t quite vanilla that made it seem like the flavoring wasn’t mixed in properly). Their ice cream looked great, but unfortunately they can’t compete with the big guns.

In addition to yogurt, yummy ice cream lives here! I had their «baby» size, and it was a ton of ice-​cream, so much for thinking I am going to consume only a little bit. Enjoyed these flavors: expresso chip and pecan praline. Love that the baby size accommodates two flavors.
The female employee was super nice, too.

Best peanut butter froyo ever. Excellent selection of low cal yogurts, plus a decent offering of ice cream if you don’t froyo.
I’ve heard grumblings about a grouchy owner, but I’ve never encountered anyone but really nice youngish servers helping behind the counter.

I’m giving it this rating because of the fantastic service of ROSIE. She is always so pleasant, always has a beautiful smile on her face. She treats all the customers with respect even when they are rude and disrespectful towards her. She’s a hard, dedicated worker and I hope the owner recognizes how fortunate he or she is to have such a tremendous asset to their business.
No, I am not in any way related to Rosie. I am a CPA who works down the street and comes in to the store every week or so. The quality of the yogurt is good. The owner could do a better job of maintaining the equipment and making sure they don’r run out of inventory.

Came in because I was craving frozen yogurt and I wasn’t impressed. I was in a rush and couldn’t get to yogurtland where I usually go and I decided to give this place a try.
Well, I’ll start off with there isn’t much variety but I went with the baby size of the chocolate mint which is $ 3.05 then I got a topping and my total was $ 4.05. WHAT!!! That is super expensive. I’m talking about a really small cup. I am never coming back. Wayyyyyyy over priced.

Great yogurty esp pb and good gelato but bad service as she couldn’t even tell me if there were eggs in it

This place is a hit with my taste buds. Peanut butter froyo never disappoints, but they have nearly a dozen flavors readily available. The workers there are super sweet and patient as they doll out samples for the kiddies.

We came to this place to enjoy some froyo, however unlike the Google listing, this place is not self-​serve. We got ice cream instead, which was a little disappointing, I could taste that it had been sitting there for some time. The staff is nice enough. But mainly I’m saddened by the lack of display and taste. Maybe it’d be better during the day and not near closing?

I give this place one star because I do not feel that they serve fresh ice cream. I have been there once before and ordered frozen yogurt, which was good, plus, they are reasonably priced. However, I went in today on my lunch break to get a regular scoop of chocolate ice cream and I noticed that their ice cream and gelato (which can be seen on display at the very front of the store) looked like it had been sitting there for days. Parts of the top were visibly darker than the rest of the bucket, which indicated to me that it was older and dryer than what was beneath. On top of that, there were pieces of different types of ice cream in many of the buckets! Don’t they clean up stuff like that? Don’t they want their display of ice cream to look tasty and delightful?! I guess not! I ended up buying a cone because I had walked all the way there, but I threw it away as soon as I got back to work. I was so disgusted, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it! I won’t be visiting this place again. :(

What a disappointment. Walked in here on a Saturday night, ordered my yogurt, and realized that they had absolutely NO fruit. NONE! The other worker said they did have it but they hadn’t cut it up so me assuming this was a business and that they would want to make a customer happy (plus make more money), figured she would ask me if I wanted to wait for it… Nope! They made no effort whatsoever. She stood there, occupied with something else.
The owner, I believe, was sitting there as well and heard the entire conversation. What did he do? NOTHING!
I ended up having a yogurt with some topping, which was just disgusting. We also tried the new frozen ice. terrible as well. My mom actually threw it out half way in.
Besides them not having fruit prepared on a Saturday night at 6pm, the servers obviously were not very kind or helpful.
I would go somewhere else if you’re looking for a positive experience, with yummy yogurt… and FRUIT!

So I work next door to this place and a while back I got a gift certificate to this place (before it changed owners). About a month ago I decided to walk next door to get a yogurt and after I ordered my yogurt I handed the girl my gift certificate which had an .85c balance, then she says to me «oh I don’t know if we can take these cause of the new owner, I’ll find out and I’ll let u know next time» I said ok no problem and paid full price for my yogurt. The second time I went back about a week later I asked her if she could take my certificate and she said «oh the owner hasn’t come by» I was like really? The owner hasn’t been to the store in a week hmmm ok. So once again I paid full price. Then the third time I went about 2 weeks after that same crap she was clueless as usual. So today I went again and I asked her if she ever found out about it and she said «oh no I haven’t» so I got annoyed and I told her it’s been 4 times I have been here with this certificate and every time you have an excuse to not take it! So then she said ok I’ll take it. So my total was $ 3.05 and my balance on my certificate was .85c so she said I’ll just charge you $ 2 so I hand her a $ 5 bill and she gave me $ 2 back which means she actually charged me $ 3 instead of $ 2. Then the store phone rang and she ran to the office before I could tell her about my change so I waited for a minute but while I waited I noticed a few long nasty hairs on the counter which got me grossed out and I said forget it I’m out of here and I made the decision to never come back! At this point it’s not about the .85c it’s about the principal I had to wait over a month for her to take my certificate! And after she does she doesn’t even know how to do the math. Do yourself a favor and don’t come to this dirty place where the employees are clueless and dirty. Next time I will just walk over to the liquor store and get myself a prepackaged ice cream instead.

I used to come to this yogurt shop when I was a little girl in elementary school! I used to love it! But now it’s dirty and there are flies on the fruits. I don’t know who is managing it now but it is very disappointing to see one of my favorite yogurt places lower their standards like they have. GROSS! And it is pricier than self serve locations in the area.

The service is horrible, the yogurt I got was melted and gross, I asked if the machine was broken because the consistency was not normal, but the girl had no idea what I was saying. I should have left then but I still paid for the disgusting yogurt and threw it out. Worst yogurt place ever!

Horrible place! My friend and I went to get some for lunch, and service was horrible! The kid at the front seemed like he was tired and hating life. If I had a question he would respond with attitude! The yogurt taste horrible with the toppings, I dealt with with but my friend couldn’t. They didn’t offer to even taste, then we called the manager because the kid didn’t want to refund her the money because he never has been in this sort of situation. We called the manager and he wanted to argue more than find a resolution. He said he buys the best yogurt in the world and he said that we are people who come order things and send it back. Like I have time for all that non~sense! I should have requested my money back as well because the toppings and yogurt was gross! The manager claims that his yogurt tastes different from a sample cup then the actual cup they serve it in. Well that sure doesn’t make sense but ok. After going back and forth on the phone with a manager, more like talking to a kid, he told the cashier to give my friend her money back and as he was handing over the money he says «here and get the fu** out of here!» DONT COME HERE!!! Worse place ever! I’ll be reporting this place as well.

I do agree that a lot has changed ever since the new owners took over (and not for the best).
I still like their variety of you hurts, especially the sugar free & low carb choices (which many other yogurt shops don’t have).
But, the service has gone down; the environment just doesn’t feel the same; their not as clean and organized as before.
I’ll still give them a 3 star though.

Been going to Yogurt Zone for years. Quality took a downhill turn when it was sold last year. Maybe the first clue should have been that they didn’t honor the prior owner’s punch cards… are you guys serious? Did you ever hear of «goodwill?» In any event, the quality of the product isn’t what it was
previously (although better than most at times), and the staff isn’t nearly as attentive or sanitary as before. The place has a general dinginess to it now. Plus, they have poor planning as their machines break on a regular basis, so they are out of flavors that they have nonetheless posted.
Tonight was the final straw. I went in to get a yogurt. The server was sweeping when I came in. He put down his broom, and approached me (without washing his hands). I asked for a flavor, which he then informed me they didn’t have (despite its posting), and while I was then asking him a question he proceeded to use his shirt to wipe his snotty nose with his hand. GROSS!

I had a bad experience here and I’ll never return. I ordered a yogurt and tried paying with two dollar bills. The teenage girl behind the register looked at me like I was crazy and accused me of trying to pay with fake money. I thought she was joking until she cussed me, ordered me to leave and she threatened to call the police on me.
Hey Yogurt Zone, if you’re going to hire inexperienced teenaged workers, at least make sure they’re familiar with all forms of U.S. currency.

This place has the creamiest yogurt I’ve tasted. almost Cold Stone status. I like how they are also health conscious about their dessert. Their yogurt has low sugar, lactose, and I believe they don’t have gluctose.
The only thing that sucks is there’s no bathroom, but other than that the place looks nice and home-​like. Great place to eat a yogurt and catch up with a friend.
They even offer Yogurt Pie and Yogurt Waffles which looked really good, but kind of expensive. But the highlight is definitely how creamy their yogurt is.
