Brothers 2

Growing up in Endicott I drove by Brothers 2 numerous times. I never gave it a chance solely because he outside of the building did not seem kept up and word of mouth was that it was not good. My friends and I decided to go one night because we had a coupon and we were shocked. It turned into our weekly place. The chicken wings are great, with great flavors, the pizza was good and the other dinner entrée’s we tried we liked a lot. It’s a very relaxed place and there is never a wait. The Wait staff were always friendly and always had good suggestions. My only complaint would be the décor inside. It needs updated and is very run down. Aside from that, enjoy!

I used to get pizza here all the time. It was more of a family kind of place then. Now, its all focused on the bar, and the quality of food has gone downhill. Also, its incredibly hard to order when most of the people working there don’t seem to know the menu. One waitress did, and she was awesome, but the other two people looked at me like I had 4 heads. Tip: learn the menu so you don’t make customers wait around as you attempt to figure everything out.

My boyfriend and I decided to try the brunch buffet earlier today and I swear brunch is code for overcooked and under flavored. Everything I tried seemed to be overcooked or burnt and lacked flavor. The french toast was made of Italian bred with sesame seeds and seemed to have been put under a broiler, the sausage was burnt so bad I could barley eat it. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. We did get there late, but even the fresh food they brought out was bad. The only bright spot was the orange juice and even then, they gave you glasses so small you had to make multiple trips back to the buffet area to get enough to drink. Not going to visit them again. If I want Italian I’ll go to Michelangelo’s and if I want breakfast I’ll go to Skylark…

Brothers 2 is a pretty good place to go grab a beer and get a good snack. it used to be more of a family dining place but nowadays i feel the emphasis is on the bar. they have a very good beer selection and it’s the coldest beer on tap i’ve had in years.
the bar food is good. i went recently with a few people and they enjoyed the fish sandwich and the cheesesteak sandwich. a year ago i tried the grover pig stand sandwich and i thought it was enjoyable. the meat on it was shaved instead of pulled and it wasn’t dry at all. the sauce they used on it is a bottled commercial sauce, but it’s one that i haven’t had anywhere else locally and the owner claims that it’s very similar to the original pig stand recipe. the fries and coleslaw that came with it were very good too. as for the italian side of the menu, the homemade pasta is good. not my favorite but still good. same with their sauce. it’s good but i just love little venice’s sauce so much that it’s unfair to compare others to it haha. the chicken parm is pretty good here. the pizza is good too, but be warned, it IS very thin and you need to fold it to eat it, but i don’t have an issue with that. i do feel that the cheese i had on the pizza here recently isn’t the same as it used to be, it seemed like it was a cheap product where as it used to be very good, but that could just be in my head since it’s been a while since i’ve had it. also, a helpful tip if you’re going to order wings: get them extra crispy. just do it. a couple years ago i went to a wedding reception here and it was a great time. great food and beer, so if you’re considering this as a venue, you won’t be disappointed.
i like the décor here, it’s got a nice combination of italian and local. like i said earlier though, it does seem to be more fitting for a bar than a family restaurant. the servers are nice here and make you feel very welcome. honestly, if i lived closer i would drink here more often, but i live 25 minutes away and when i drink i like to stay close to home, but if you’re close then definitely chem them out.

We had an amazing brunch this weekend. Great food and service. The homemade desserts were to die for. Yummy!

Haven’t been here in years. Found out that they are selling growlers and added a great craft beer selection. Recommended for craft beer lover
All u can pasta night was really cheap and they have really good sauce.

Food and service was awful. Took at least ten minutes to get a waitress to acknowledge us, lunch buffet was incredibly disappointing and the pizza was undercooked.

An average, if somewhat dated Italian/​American restaurant. Recent effort on promoting a variety of craft beer, include some taps devoted to local breweries, raise this place up a notch.
Prices are outstandingly inexpensive.

I had linguini with red clam sauce and was surprised by how good it was! The sauce, portion and quality were all perfect.
It also came with a side salad and rolls which were ok.
I wasn’t too crazy about the pizza. But I will say, we called a half hour before they closed and had great service. Everything was hot and ready on time.

Best prices on wings. Pizza is good as well prices are reasonable. Craft beer selections change a bit. Expanding cooler to offer bigger craft beer selections. Homemade pasta is great and sauce is yummy.

On a Wednesday night, my relatives tell me there is not much that is open late in Endwell. We had just left a school event and it was about 9:30 pm. As I followed them in my car they were apparently calling around to find where we could still sit down and have a pizza and beer. Brothers 2 met our need.
Our party of 4 would be the only ones in the dining room, but we could easily hear that it was trivia night in the bar. While they were loud, they didn’t really prevent us from carrying on a conversation in our booth. But at times it was distracting as we tried to come up with the answer to some of the questions that we heard.
Our waitress was new, so she had to look at her cheat sheet to reply to our question of what beers were on tap. The two of us who ordered beer chose the Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale. The waitress returned to say they were only able to get one more glass of it poured before the keg kicked. I being the visitor in town, was given the Lord Chesterfield while the other beer drinker had a traditional Yuengling Lager.
With each member of our party trying to be polite, the answer to the question of what should we get on the pizza (16″; $ 9.50) ended up deferring to the individual who seemed to have the most limited preference. She said she liked chicken, and chicken speedies was listed as a $ 2 topping option.
Pizza is a personal thing. The style served here is the thin, New York, fold-​it-​in-​half to eat it style. It had a decent, not to sweet sauce and an adequate amount of cheese. There did not appear to be too much chicken scattered around as a topping, probably because the pieces were so small. But the flavor of the marinated chicken came through and was quite good. I would still consider asking for a double portion if I were to order it again.
If other restaurants in this area also serve pizza with speedies on it, I’d be interested in trying those places for a fair comparison.

People go to the bar or they go to the banquet room. No one eats in the dining room anymore. The pizza and chicken wings aren’t as good as they once were. The entrees are passable. What happened to the full dining room at Brothers 2 from when I was a kid? I swear the food was still good 5 or 6 years ago.
