Bob’s Stores

Black Friday came and went, but Bob’s still has discount items on sale. Work wear, office clothes, and especially athletic gear can be purchased here at bargain prices. Men’s boots and hiking boots can likewise be purchased here for low prices.

This Bob’s Stores location in Enfield was the place I did most of my shopping for high school/​college apparel since the early 1990s. I would travel from the Albany NY area to shop at this location because I could find styles of clothing, athletic wear, and sneakers/​running shoes that no one else in my HS wore. It feels very eerie and uncomfortable when you see someone wearing the same shirt/​clothing you are and I did my best to avoid this dilemma. This Bob’s Stores location really saved my day and also has GREAT PRICES and NO SALES TAX on the clothing I bought (under $ 50 per item/​under $ 300 per item during tax holidays).
Oh yeah, gas was only $ 1/​gallon around that time. Bob’s Stores did have a location in Albany NY (Crossgates Commons) at one time where there’s 8% sales tax on everything, but that location closed.
Where I live now in sales tax free NH, there are 3 Bob’s Stores locations within 30 minutes of my home and I still enjoy shopping their selection of apparel, clearance items, and footwear and use their Rewards Card to earn bonuses in the store.
