The new owner makes the fresh DQ ice cream. The former owner had sour ice cream. I also like the coupons the new owner offers. Good food, nice staff, and a good offer for ice cream. I will be back, often. I may order an cake for Father’s day. Happy to be able to shop here again. I live nearby, but the old place was horrible.

After going to six flags I went to this Dairy Queen for a snack. This is the type of Dairy Queen that you order at the window or a drive through and eat in your car. I ordered a chips ahoy blizzard with only cookies. I double checked to make sure they got that I don’t want any of the mix ins in it. They also did not understand that I want my blizzard in a waffle bowl. They thought I wanted the waffle bowl on the side. I had to correct them. When my order was ready I could tell it had all the mix ins in it. I told the employee I only wanted chips ahoy cookies in it. He was not very apologetic but remade it. The remade blizzard was good but I’ve had better. It could have used more chips ahoy cookies in it. I don’t think I would come back to this Dairy Queen even if I’m in the area again.
