Dr. Kallis practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from comprehensive dental implant surgical procedures, wisdom tooth removal under general anesthesia, to corrective jaw and jaw joint surgery for a multitude of reasons ranging from functional and esthetics to Temporo-​mandibular (TMJ) Pain/​Dysfunction.

Dr. Kallis has been in practice for over 25 years.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons require 4 to 6 additional years of hospital-​based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from an accredited School of Dental Medicine. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Kallis manages a wide variety of oral-​facial problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.

With some 25 years of extensive experience to the specialty, he was born and raised in the New York/​New Jersey area and continues to be an active resident of the Northern New Jersey/​Bergen County Region. After graduating Fort Lee High School he went on to Fairleigh Dickinson University whereas he received a Bachelor of Science Degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and continued on to it’s School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1985. He completed an intensive Dental Residency program at Columbia-​Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC and was selected and completed a four-​year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the East Orange Veterans Admin. Medical Center which also included one-​year as Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ where he was responsible for overseeing the treatment of major Oral and Maxillo-​Facial Trauma for which he received a Certificate of completion from Seton Hall School of Grad.
