The best Dentist and staff In New Jersey. I have been a patient since I was a child and have continued through adulthood. I can actually say I enjoy going to the Dentist. How many people can say that?

The doctor is WONDERFUL AND VERY PROFESSIONAL as well as all the hygienists. After being a loyal patient for 18 years and visiting him twice a year for 18 years straight I am very disappointed. No one ever bothered to tell me that Dr. Brown became out of network for my insurance seven years ago, so when I needed a major procedure done I was not informed that my insurance would not cover this. I am extremely upset about this and this was not expected at all. Having to pay almost $ 700 out-​of-​pocket is quite painful. I really would have expected my doctor and the staff to inform me that my insurance will not cover this procedure since I was never properly informed that he became out of network. I believe it should be standard procedure to let your patients know if your insurance will cover or not. In addition to being a loyal patient I was being pressured to pay him more than I could afford as if weren’t trusted. I asked if I can be on a payment plan but their idea of a payment plan is basically paying everything in two months. Unfortunately that’s not realistic for everybody.

I started going here about 2 years ago. Staff is great. Jasmine at the front is really nice and friendly. The hygienists are really great and make the cleaning go smooth and quickly. Dr Brown is very nice and knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to any concerns and eases them with pleasure. Really never had to wait longer then a few minutes for an appointment and they have after work hours that work perfectly with my schedule! I’d recommend this office to anyone!

I met Jeffrey Brown when he was part of a dentist’s collective in Fort Lee. He quickly became my overwhelming preference there. But I didn’t always have the choice. When he decided to move into his own practice, I followed him three miles north and never looked back.
Dr. Brown learned a lot from those other office experiences.
He carefully planned and designed this new space, and hired just the right people to match his own easygoing charm, high competency, and respect for the client.
The office runs like a top. Prompt service. Rarely wait more than a few minutes. Reception offers texts, smartphone calendar links and email options for upcoming appointments or reminders. They also work to maximize goals and needs with budget and insurance considerations.
The small health services building in Englewood Cliffs off Sylvan Avenue is a bit worn. That’s ok. Dr. Brown’s second floor facilities are top notch, a comfortable fit of old school and high tech. Kind of like the Doctor himself.

I visit the dentist regularly but switched to Dr. Brown a couple of years ago and here’s my experience:
I walk in, check-​in with the receptionist and a staff member shows me to a chair — ZERO waiting time.
A staff member sits down and has a look, after a quick consultation regarding the type of work thats appropriate and what I should expect, they get right to it.
Every staff member that I’ve encountered has been courteous and accommodating (I should know, the whitening procedure that I last had done takes almost two hours!)
Each time I’ve visited, the dental work has been effective on the first try. Is there anything worse than having to return to the dentist for a second visit to address the same issue?
Billing is simple and straight forward, no surprises.
I don’t like going to the dentist, but when I do, I go to Palisades and and Doc Brown.

I am a previous patient of this Dr. Brown and I am dissastisfied by the customer service of the receptionist Jasmine. She doesn’t say hello or goodbye, never follows up to see how I am doing after surgery, and overall has bad manners which make me feel uncomfortable around her.
This makes me question Dr. Brown’s judgement when hiring this person. Customer service is everything for a good and healthy business. But here, there is only bad or no customer service. Just a rude telephone operator who has a bad attitude.
Take your hard earned money to a dentist who will provide excellent services all around. This office will just take your money and turn their back on you.

I wish that I had never gone to Dr. Brown. He has to be one of the worst dentist in the area.

I hadn’t chewed food on the left side of my mouth in more than a year.
After 30 years without a single cavity, a molar on my left side began to hurt about 18 months ago. I can’t even remember the last time I went to the dentist even for a cleaning, and the idea didn’t excite me. So I ignored it. And kept ignoring it.
Recently, it finally caught up with me and I had no choice but to do something about it. I visited Dr. Brown after a glowing recommendation from a friend and I literally could not be happier.
He drilled and filled the cavity in less than 30 minutes and I never even felt a pinch. Not from the needle, not from the drill, and not from anything else. He is friendly and courteous, as is his staff. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, to the point where it prompted me to write my first review here on Unilocal.
