All Rays Vacuum & Sewing

This place is awesome. I brought two vacuum cleaners here about a year ago and, amazingly, they still work! After spending what felt like (and probably was) $thousands over the years on high-​end, expensive vacuum cleaners that could never stand up to the small petting zoo of dogs and cats at my house… I found All Rays. I am thankful for the schooling I received there on vacuum cleaners. As someone who vacuums nearly every day, I need a machine that will last. Left the shop with two older model refurbished vacuum cleaners that have out performed all their predecessors – plus, they’re so cute!! – couldn’t be happier. Thanks All Rays!

I became a customer of theirs when it was still called Anderson’s Vacuum. Raymond was the owner and bent over backwards to help and be fair to customers. I bought a Royal Vacuum from him and still have it today. Raymond has retired according to his son Dustin, and turned the business over to him. This business is now far from what it used to be, and Son Dustin is a real scam artist. I took my vacuum in because I was having trouble trying to put a new belt on. Dustin then states that the bearings on my roller was no longer, and my motor was going, not to last long. Says that Royal will not allow a motor to be rebuilt. Stated that a new Roller would cost about $ 80 but the motor could go the next day. Just so happen they had another Royal allegedly a newer model than the one I had. Of course it cost me an additional $ 140, that was after I got him down some. Took it home and started to vacuum, dirt going everywhere. Found that there was no bag in it. Took it back and asked if they realized there was no bag, at which time Dustin says to other employees, «I guess this is what happens when you just put a used vacuum on the floor without checking it». I thought this was quite unusual statement. Took it back home and adjustment setting wouldn’t stay in the setting that you set it at, along with blowing dirt out the side of the head of the vacuum. I took it back after calling them to tell them I wanted to return it. Dustin advised they would not return my money. I immediately went there, two blocks away, and of course Dustin wasn’t there. While there, I saw my original vacuum sitting on the floor, appearing it was for sale with other vacuums next to it. I asked the employee if they were going to sell my old vacuum to another customer and rip him off. Emp. stated they just didn’t have time to take it to the back. I then told him that I was quite aware that they ripped me off, and told them that they weren’t going to rip another person off because I was taking my original vacuum with me. Originally when I was in there and trying to negotiate the price of the vacuum that I bought, Dustin told me that he didn’t have the authority to sell it for less, that he would have to talk to the employee in the back. About 5 minutes later returned and stated that he wasn’t able to get the employee to go with my original offered price. I normally don’t get scammed very easy, but I did here, Dustin who had to go to the back to get permission to sell it to me, is actually the owner. Since Dustin is only a kid, I really didn’t think he was no the OWNER!!! It is a shame that his Father was a reputable business owner, and appeared his first thought was customer service. Sonny boy Dustin, my opinion, will run it into the ground. BUYER BEWARE!!! One other comment Justin said was that he couldn’t take the vacuum back because there might be bugs in it after I used it and couldn’t sell it to someone else. Did he forget that he sold this USED vacuum to me? Wasn’t he worried that there might be «BUGS» in it when he sold it to me! Lots of vacuum places it Colorado, it would be best that you find another one other than this one. I plan on taking this vacuum back to them every week since it has a 3 month warranty, and if they aren’t able to actually fix this piece of junk, at the end of the 3 month warranty, we will all be on our way to SMALL CLAIMS COURT.

Great family business. They know their stuff! I have tried to purchase cheaper vacuums from big box stores in the past but I am so glad I finally went to All Rays because I got a vacuum that I love and they actually service the vacuums they sell! I have recommended them to several of my friends.

Great service, my vacuum works again

We have been using this vacuum company for years. after spending $ 90 2 – 3 times a year on average vacuums we decided to bite the bullet and buy a $ 300. vacuum. It works better than the cheap versions and has for several years with no hassles. Whenever we need belts or a small fixit job All Rays has always had it in stock. After about 8 years of going here we have had an excellent experience. and I hate dealing with vacuums!

All Ray’s Vacuum is extremely unprofessional and unorganized.
I had a part ordered and was told it was going to take a few days to arrive. After a week went by, I called to check on my part, and an associate by the name of «Dustin» gave me excuses as to why I never received a call. When I got to the store, they couldn’t find my name in the system because my name was spelled incorrectly, and they struggled to find the part when I arrived.
You would think this establishment would have your vacuum part available considering they specialize in this department.
I was handed the vacuum part, no receipt, no bag or anything.
This regretful experience was such a huge inconvenience. It’s a disgrace that these people have the audacity to call this a «business.»

If you like poor customer service served up with a condescending attitude, then this is the place to shop. We purchased a VERY expensive Riccar in 2009 (not unlike the previous poster’s comment only we fell prey) and now just found out that you are only allowed a certain window of time to bring it in to be serviced. When I stated that I was certain the sales guy told me that All Ray’s would send out a service reminder notice, the guy behind the counter said, «No way, we never would promise anything like that to anyone.» Then he proceeded to say to me, «Am I supposed to feel bad because you can’t read the manual?» Seriously… those are the words that came out of his mouth! So… lesson learned: take your business elsewhere. There are so many other businesses out there that will appreciate your patronage.

I went in to get a quote for repairing my vacuum. They told me it would cost approx $ 275 and that I should trade it in and buy a new vacuum from them for $ 300. After a very tough sell I escape and go to another repair shop in Greenwood Village that fixed it for about $ 175.
