Let me start by saying that I love Rocio, she is a great stylist so this review has nothing to do with her. I’d give her 5 stars. HOWEVER, I don’t know what the hell is the problem with this place but I cannot ever seem to get anyone to answer the phone at this salon. I’m so frustrated by trying to schedule an appointment that I am no longer going to be a client.
Supposedly they have online scheduling — I’ve never used it. It’s not easy to find it on their website. I don’t know if they are even still doing online scheduling or if it’s an effort that they abandoned. Regardless — they should at least be able to pick up the phone during business hours. NOPE. I’ve called at various times during the day, I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for a week. Today someone finally answered but they asked if I could hold, I said yes, and they put the down for 5 minutes and forgot I was waiting to speak with someone (this has happened before so it’s not a first). The person answering the phone didn’t even have the courtesy to put me on hold professionally so I could listen to music, instead I got to listen to another client pay and schedule their next appointment. I eventually hung up. This isn’t the first time I’ve gone through this whole ordeal. It’s happened at least twice before. And I’ve just basically lost my patience with the whole thing.
The front desk person needs to be fired. They should be answering every phone call that comes in during business hours if they are not already on the phone. If you can plan to get your haircuts regularly enough that you get on their schedule BEFORE YOU LEAVE then you will most likely never have this problem. I’m a mom with a limited income who gets the treat of a hair cut when I can afford it so I’m not so fortunate as to be able to get my hair cut and schedule a month out. I won’t be back. I don’t care what kind of coupon offer that they send me via email!

Exceeded my expectations!!! Master Stylist Allison was amazing. I just relocated from FL and I’m growing out a messy cut that has be corrected over time and with growth. Allison did a detailed consultation to understand what I wanted and create a plan to fix it. She gave me a bob that looked sleek, thick and blended into the old cut. She was attentive and very detail oriented.

Andrew is the bomb!!! I have had soooo many terrible cuts and hair coloring at other salons in the past, therefore I was skeptical when I made my appointment with Andrew. Immediately, it was clear to see that Andrew had the skill, the knowledge and the expertise to make miracles happen! When he had finished, my hair color was absolutely stunning as well as my cut. It has been a month now, time to go back in for a refresher, and I can honestly say that I have loved my hair every minute since Andrew worked his magic!!! I have found my new hair home!

I had a good haircut here. They listened to what I said (didn’t scalp me) and I was pretty satisfied overall. I’ll be going back to see Rosia (sp?) again for sure.

I love Andrew! He has a true talent and eye for color. I would absolutely recommend seeing him.

Andrew is my go-​to person at Altitude. I accidently discovered him at Altitude when I was looking to switch. He takes time to actually listen (really listen) to what you want and he offers suggestions along the way. He makes you comfortable and doesn’t go about chopping off hair (as most master stylists I’ve had past experiences with do). He’ll cut your hair a little at first and then ask you if you are comfortable with the length. As he styles your hair along, he offers tips on how to style them yourself at home (which I highly appreciate since I’m not much of a style at home person).
I highly recommend his services!

I was very impressed with my first experience at Altitude salon englewood today. Stylist” Kristin” is delightful and professional. She know which cut suits your face, she deserve the title «excellent stylist», I left feeling fresh and ready for spring with my new cut will definitely be returning in the future.

I was nervous to have my hair colored due to past experiences but Baylee gave me an incredible ombree color! I LOVE it! Thanks Baylee!

I had found Altitude here on Unilocal and called to try to make an appointment before I headed back to college in Arizona. They fit me in for an appointment the same day and they did an AMAZING job. I have been getting my hair done for almost 10 years now and this is by far one of the best experiences I have had!
I asked for an all over low-​light with a bit of highlight framing around my face. Not only did she do exactly what I asked but she made suggestions that matched my description perfect. She took her time doing the low-​lights and they turned out fantastic!
My mom came with me for my appointment and was so impressed that she is planning to come to the shop as well instead of her usual hair stylist that she has been going to for years now. Without a doubt I will be coming back here whenever I need my hia

This was this worst highlights I have ever had, and I have been getting highlights for 12 years! They completely screwed up the color, I ended up with quite a few variations of blond/​yellow/​orange colors and they started so far away from my scalp that it looked like it had been grown out for months!!! I will Never be going back

My hair was super damaged and I was feeling so nervous/​embarrassed to get a cut. I’m new to the area and picked this place based on good reviews from Unilocal.And I am so glad I did! I was greeted promptly and offered a beverage. My stylist greeted me positively and I instantly felt comfortable.
Allison was so sweet and did not make me feel guilty for my damaged ends like I know some do. She listened to what I needed and didn’t do anything until she confirmed it was what I wanted. She was friendly and comforting. The head and shoulder massage was a plus!
I left feeling the best I ever had about a hair cut! I didn’t have to rush home and wash and restyle with fingers crossed because she listened and left it just how I asked. I didn’t feel pressured to buy Aveda products, but I loved the way my hair felt and ended up buying some anyways.
I will certainly be back!

I got a haircut and full highlights from Andrew last night and he did a fantastic job! I was having problems with my hair turning brassy and red and he toned it to make it look so natural and beautiful. We also did Bayalage highlights that turned out amazing! They look subtle and natural, just like we discussed. It turned out even better than I expected. I love the cut as well, I feel like my hair has a lot more body and he was so nice to talk to. I highly recommend.

After a friend of mine had a good experience at this salon with Andrew I decided to give it a try since I’m new to the area. He did take the time to listen to the type of color I prefer when we started the appointment. I am pleased with the allover color of red that he formulated for me and the cut is overall pretty good. But that is where what I’m happy about ends and is the reason why I am not giving the salon fewer stars.
Andrew was about 15 minutes late for my appointment. Not a huge deal. I showed him some pictures of colors and cuts I liked and he showed me color swatches. I pointed out the swatches I liked and how I wanted them slightly different. I was very clear with him that because my hair is naturally a dirty blond, it takes color very well and that I did *not* want the highlights he was adding to be blond. (I realize that bleach = blond which is why I specifically told him not to lift them too much and that they would need to be toned and to be honest, the «highlighted» color I request was the same color as the color I came in with so lowlights would have been more appropriate.)
All stylists approach things slightly differently so setting that aside, he asked if I wanted natural or «chunky» highlights. I told him that normally I prefer natural but we could try a few chunky as long as they were peekaboo. Foils went in first. I asked him how he was going to cover my roots with the foils so close to my head. He said that he does it all the time. Fair enough, I’m not a stylist. Allover color went on and some of this color went in between foils. I told him that coloring my hairline roots was particularly important to me.
When he washed my hair and toned it he became a little uneasy. I thought perhaps it was that he had a client waiting because he didn’t anticipate how long it would take to do my hair (being a newer stylist perhaps learning how long it will take him to finish various services). He began asking me to come back in a week to tone my again because the highlights were going to be «too blond» which they are after he toned them but the real problem is that you can see my roots in ENTIRE sections of my hair! In addition to that the highlights are not «chunky» as peekaboo — they are PANELS of blond.
In addition to leaving my roots showing all over the place and panels of blond that I did not ask for, I really felt like my hair was just a wig on a mannequin to him. My hair was pulled so much and my head was pushed around so much I left with a migraine.
I’ve been having my hair colored from blond to red for over 20 years and this has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. Granted, this is one stylist in a salon but considering that I paid $ 150 with a $ 20 discount for this service, I would not go back — not even for the color correction. I expect that an owner of the salon should be well aware of which stylists still need supervision for certain services and that either those stylists get the needed supervision or are not allowed to perform those services.

I first visited this salon at their old location for a ban trim and was hooked. Hannah did a great job and I ended up seeing her for a full highlight and cut. loved it. Unfortunately when I called to schedule my next appointment, I was told she moved to New York. I decided to try my luck with someone new and I don’t regret it! Allison was wonderful. She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted in terms of color, cut and bangs. She was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. She took her time but wasn’t slow and gave an amazing scalp massage. At the end she coached me on a few products and showed me where they were but I didn’t feel pressured into buying any of them. Her price was a little cheaper than my visit with Hannah but she did an equally good job. My hair looks great and I will definitely be visiting Allison again!

Very reasonable prices! Services are a bit slow as it takes about 3 hours or more for partial color and a cut! They don’t offer the usual hand massage or scalp massage which is one of the perks of going to an Aveda salon because of the pampering. They do offer tea which is nice! Checkout is always a bit of a confusing time, the colorist walks you to the front and walks away, no goodbye see you soon. They don’t try to rebook you either which is unusual for me. My hair has always been done the way I ask (or very close) so thats what keeps me coming back!

After having a bad experience with a salon in Parker, I was realllly scared to try a new salon but I was in desperate need of a cut and color. I decided to go with Altitude based on the good reviews and was randomly matched up with Kristina. She is the
! She’s very thorough and takes her time with coloring and cutting your hair plus she smells really nice.
I have a lot of hair so I’m used to stylists just rushing through, but she did a really fabulous job on my all over color, highlights and cut. I am SO extremely happy I found this salon and Kristina. I will definitely be going back!
By the way, the salon moved and is down the street from the old salon. It’s now on Zenith Meridian in between the Starbucks and an a liquor store at 9854 Zenith Meridian Dr. Unit B

I was looking for a new place to get my hair done and I found it! Pamela did an amazing job on my cut and color. She listened to what I wanted, showed me different options for color, and my hair turned out great. I love the cut and color! She took her time on the color, cut, and style. I definitely plan on going back!

I searched for an Aveda salon on Unilocal and this place popped up. Very easy to find. I wanted to pamper myself and just get a wash and a blow out. Called that day and Mary was open a couple hours later. She was so sweet and even sent me home with a product sample. She also does hair cuts for $ 20 as she is new to the salon. How awesome is that??? They are moving locations soon around April but still on Lincoln. Check it out!!!

Just got one bad highlight job from Christina. Half the hair was a blended highlight and the other side a chunky highlight. Very uneven and all performed with one bad attitude from Christina. Also took just over 3 hours to color and highlight — no other services. I called the salon to get it fixed by someone else and they said they could not help me find a new stylist to redo the bad job. Very disappointing.

I want to share that I had a terrific experience with the hospitality of this salon, beverages, pampering with things that are usually not drawn out like the washing of hair and scalp massage, while I waited for the time of the color on my hair I got a complimentary hand and arm massage, something totally unexpected. Of course that is how the salon treats the customers but I got lucky with my hairdresser Kristina. She took care of me and was well mastered in her craft. I will definitely be coming back by the time my roots grow out.
