BBVA Compass Bank

I’m writing this review because Compass Bank has started stealing $ 230 extra dollars a month from me. I financed a house with Compass and Andrea Brost 13 months ago. While the terms of the loan were great there were some mistakes made during the process that caused me to bring an additional 12k to closing. I found out about this mistake 1 ½ weeks before my closing, good thing I had the money.
That’s not why they earned a 1 star. Just over 30 days ago I got a written letter, not even a phone call saying that they will be deducting an additional $ 239 a month because of a mistake They made!!! I have since spent hours on the phone with numerous people and departments who have admitted their mistake but have done nothing except to offer me a $ 200 credit. They are planning on «Taking» $ 2,400 additional dollars from me over the next year for a mistake on their end. These were not the terms of the loan and not what I signed on for. Compass seems to be one of those big banks that only care about money and not doing the right thing!
I used to own a mortgage company and I understand where they made the mistake now. They made it on purpose to correct the original mistake they made.
Do not bank with Compass and definitely do not finance a 400K house with them. Feel free to message me to find out more about these unethical crooks.
