I’m sorry to say that I’m pretty disappointed in the care my GSD received from Dr Mike. Here are the facts, you decide for yourself what you think. At seven months old, my dog weighed 43 pounds and stood 22 inches tall. His proportions were odd-​long tail, head too big, small body, and you could literally see all of his ribs. I had been taking him there since he was four months old, mostly for nail trims so they were used to seeing him. He had stopped growing, and had actually lost weight the last time I went in. I voiced my concerns to the doctor, who said the dog’s weight was fine and he was just not going to be a big dog, that he would only grow another inch and I shouldn’t worry about it. I wish he had asked me questions, any questions… questions about my dog’s genealogy, his siblings, his parents and grandparents. I wish he had asked about exercise and stool and feeding. So I went to another vet, who told me my dog was malnourished, changed his food, and his portions. She also told me about a supplement to help him grow. My dog is now nine months old, has grown five inches, and gained 20 pounds. He’s now 27 inches, just over the top of the breed standard. I’m really, really glad I didn’t listen and took it upon myself to find an answer to my problem. I’m still paying $ 45/​month for the puppy health plan I purchased, but I won’t be going back.

One of the best vets I have seen in a long time! They were able to get us in first thing on a Saturday with a sick pup! I’m glad I found Dr. Mike!

Dr. Holmberg has been our vet for the past fifteen years. He cared for our dogs at his previous practice and we will certainly follow him to his own practice. Our cocker spaniel developed an issue with her red blood cells that was life threatening. We took her to an emergency vet clinic close to our home. The vet there told us the cocker would have to be on prednisone the rest of her life. With the help of Dr. Holmberg she was off all the medication relating to that illness within three months. She went on to live 6 more years and passed away at 14 years old. We trust his judgement with our beloved dogs.

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to tell you Dr. Holmberg is worth writing about. He has worked at Banfield for a lot of our dog’s years and has always taken the extra effort to find out what is going on with our Dog not just take the approach and think it is this. He also called to follow up to make sure our Dog was okay. If you are looking for a vet in the south metro area I highly recommend you look up Dr. Holmberg and Belleview Animal Clinic.

My family and I are very excited that Dr. Holmberg is beginning his own practice. We have taken all of our pets to his past vet clinic and are excited about following him to the new practice! Dr. H went above and beyond to help us out with the illness and passing of our beloved Fred. When it came to making the hardest decision ever he was the only vet we would consider being with us to say goodbye. I will forever be grateful for his kindness, compassion, and expertise when taking care of our pets! Congrats on the new adventure, see you soon!

Finally I found a Vet who treats the underlying problem rather than the symptom. The Dr. here is extremely knowledgeable and professional and seems to really care for your pet rather than trying to make a buck. So many people are so quick to react to symptoms and rush to the vet only to get duped and prescribed toxic medicines. The Dr. here will honestly tell you that sometimes you need to let the pets immune system take care of itself. The vet also is very educated with health foods and not try and sell you on its own sponsored brands that other vets get paid for. She believes in the RAW diet just like dogs have had for over 15 thousand years. My dog has had raw since 10 weeks old and the only problem he had was from toxic vacinations from another vet prior to discovering Belleview. Our dog was losing hair and scratching excessively from it. Belleview gave us some natural herbs (not man made) and the problem cleared up quickly. I can’t say enough about them!

My wife and I have four cats, and we’re slowly migrating over to Belleview for all of them. My wife in particular is a big fan of holistic care, and the treatments that Dr. Jasek has used for one of our cats in particular have been wonderful. I’m very happy with the care our cats have gotten at Belleview.

Dr Jasek has helped saved Sophie, my pomapoo (pomeranian and poodle mix) from a horrible life suffering from asthma. I got Sophie when she was 3 months old. She had severe coughing attacks several times a day and about every half hour during the night. Her quality of life was horrible — the poor thing would lay completely flat on the floor during these attacks she was suffering so much. With Dr Jasek’s help we were able to treat the root cause of Sophie’s asthma attacks. After removing typical allergens from our home and changing her diet, Sophie has no more asthma attacks. She’s a normal 9 month old dog now with tons of energy.

I took my puppy there because she was lethargic. I was their last patient so Dr. Jasek in a hurry to get home just took her temperature and checked her gums. My puppy, Molly had a 105 degree temp. and Dr. Jasek just sent me home with a homopathec medicine. I ended up at an emergeny vet. hospital. The vet there actually did a full check up and found that Molly had an extreme bug bite and an allergic reaction. It caused Molly’s face to swell up and her to be very sick. The other vet wouldn’t even let us leave the hospital with Molly’s temperature so high. They put her on IV’s and we picked our puppy up a few hours later doing great. I was so unhappy with Dr. Jasek that I called her office and made a complaint, which was ignored. I called and spoke with Dr. Jasek personally and she claimed to have done a full exam. I was hoping that she would admitted to her mistake, cause atleast then I would have peace of mind that this won’t happen to other families. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO BELLEVIEW ANIMAL CLINIC. She is an irresponsible vet with no remorse or ability to admit her mistakes.

Sis has a dear miniature poodle that was viciously attacked by a terrier, and nearly killed. We took him to see Dr. Judy and her excellent staff, and he was able to get the laser treatments that enhanced healing, and consistently good care. Unfortunately he needed additional surgery to repair the skin that was damaged, but it has healed very well, and we are very grateful.

I have been taking my dog to this clinic for a few months for follow-​up care from a surgery performed at another vet. The good part first — I love that they are homeopathic. The Dr. came up with some good options to keep my dog’s tummy happy while he was on all the drugs. I think they are probably a good vet for routine care. Now the bad… the communication breakdown is one of the worst I have seen at any business. On more than one occasion, my dog ran out of meds and they had no idea how to get more. I had to ask several times to get refills and on all 3 occasion had to go somewhere else to get them (another vet 2x and 1x to a people pharmacy — I guess I should have switched to the other vet), because they refused to do an online pharmacy that carried what we needed. I was told once that we were good to go only to end up back in worse shape. The final straw was my last vest. The first vet missed some bone in his first surgery and Dr. Jasek said he would likely need another surgery. They took x-​rays and asked me to bring in the others to compare, which I did. It’s been 3 weeks of me calling them without any response. Since then, my dog has run out of meds (which I told them in 2 of the conversations), and I have no idea if he’s supposed to have another surgery or what. Despite all of my phone calls, they have been completely unresponsive about his medical stuff, but they did call twice to remind me that I still owed them a little money. If only their billing people could answer medical questions, right? It is obvious that they just don’t care about animals or customer service. Bottom line, they might do okay with routine care, but don’t waste your time or money with people who could care less about you or your pet.

Still a fan with an update. One of my girls (Jutenhoop) had a severe limp in one of her hind legs and I took her to see Dr. Jasek. After the exam and the xrays, Dr. Jasek outlined the cause and the treatment in great detail. She was extremely empathetic and reassuring while she outlined the pros and the cons of the different treatments for Jute’s bone cancer.
I was devistated but because Dr. Jasek oulined everything and answered all of my concerns, I was able to make an educated decision. She really cares about animals and believes in giving them the best quality of life possible.
Jute’s amputation went as expected, there were no suprises, everything went as described. I can’t thank the team at the Belleview Animal Clinic enough for putting my mind at ease about the procedure and for their emotional support (Jute took it better than I did.).
This is a great place to take your beloved pet. They educate you and they help you make good decisions about your pet’s care. They care about you and your pet.

I must say that my fur babies don’t go to the vet on a regular basis, but when they do we take them here. I appreciate the fact that this clinic practices both holistic care and traditional medicine. This is very important to me because my most precious dog had a reaction to a vaccine when she was younger and we no longer believe in over vaccinating our animals. I appreciate that they do not force the vaccinations, they respect the owners choice, and they have alternative/​holistic vaccines.
