I love this pool. It’s a little tough to be at when there is a bus load of daycare kids playing roughly on the splash pad and your 2.5 year old can’t play, too. But once they leave? Awesome place for families with kids of all ages– the splash pad is great, the baby pool with tiny rhino slide is fun, but nothing to write home about. I like that the splash pad and baby area are separated, but not completely gated off. It slows littles down enough but doesn’t completely prevent them from getting to the big pool. The bathrooms are clean enough, not awful like some community pools. Plenty of shade to get out of the sun and accommodate sleepy children and picnics. They don’t open to the public until noon to allow for lessons and teams. Kind of a bummer for the rest of us. Can’t speak to the food, though they have some. All I’ve had personally is an ice cream sandwich and some cotton candy. Overall, I enjoy coming here for a couple of hours with my toddler and the prices for residents seem reasonable.

I gave two stars for the simple fact that it’s not a pool for people over the age of 15, or for people without kids. The pool is nice, though small. $ 6.50 for non residents. Very loud, kid heavy.

I love this pool– great location– great prices and the staff is very friendly and well trained. The best part is that the baby pool is separated from the big pool– because I have two very busy toddlers I don’t stress as much that they’ll wander off too quickly into deep water. They also have a splash pad that makes the baby pool area that much more fun!

This is a nice community pool, operated by South Suburban Parks and Recreation. –Prices are reasonable, especially if you’re a South Suburban member. –The pool is very clean and well cared for. –Water stays a comfortable temperature. –Two waterslides(not just for kids). –Splash area(that really is just for kids). –Multiple lifeguards on duty. –Plenty of lounge chairs, and a lot of shade if you want to take a break from sunbathing. A good little hangout if you live in the area!
