Chaput Rootmaster

They gave us an estimate on an air conditioning problem. The guy had bad advice that was detrimental to the system. Kept pushing to sell us an entire new system. Would not quote on a fix, only on a new system. Had another company come by and got the problem fixed cheap. Did not need a new system.

I just had an evaporative cooler installed by Chaput, and I am completely satisfied with Chaput. Chaput is a locally owned family business, and you can tell they are proud and dedicated to their company. Once I scheduled an appointment for an estimate online (I love that I could do that online!) Eric came out to my house to give me an estimate on both an AC and evap cooler system. We live in a 1920’s brick bungalow, and Eric was very honest about the fact that updating our house for AC would be very expensive and that the less expensive evap cooler option would be just as effective. I’ve never had a salesman do that! Once my husband and I decided to go ahead with the install, Chaput was able to schedule our installation day within a week. This was at the end of July when we needed the cooler the most, so the speediness was greatly appreciated! The installation crew was friendly and fast, and they went out of their way to clean up after themselves. We’ll probably be in the market for a new furnace here pretty soon, and Chaput will be the first people we call.
