History

Established in 1969.

This business started mainly as a traditional pipe and tobacco shop. It was originally located in The Brookridge shopping center in Englewood. It has moved several times throughout the years but we have been in our current location for 20 years.

Bryan bought this business 15 years ago and has continued to grow and expand it. He is also an avid early American antique collector and has many of his pieces in the shop. He loves to share the history of the pieces for anyone who is interested.

Was visiting friends and this place had everything you would ever want in a cigar shop… Met the owner and He was the nicest guy on the planet. Have to recommend it over so many other places I have tried in /​Denver. That’s because the staff was friendly and knew their stuff… Will continue to shop here the next time I’m in town.

An extremely pleasant experience, I interacted with the owner of this place and damn does that man know customer service. He took his time to talk me through the quality of his pipes and the different types and tastes of tobacco they carry. I’m a young guy compared to what I saw as his usual clientele but at no point did I feel talked down to.
I moved up from Houston and had been looking for a real tobacco shop for a bit. I think I found mine.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like your grandad would approve this is the place.

A great cigar shop and the prices are awesome. They also give a 10% Military discount for active duty on Friday between 3:00 — 7:00pm; and the customer service is 5 star. Parking might be a little hard but that’s okay with the great prices.

Not sure if a tobacconist gets much better than Brian and the crew at Edward’s. Excellent stock of pipes and tobacco, great customer service and attitude, and after a visit they’ll know you by name (it’s the Cheers of the tobacco world).
They will instruct you on how to pack and smoke your pipe, and don’t pressure you to buy. Very professional shop.

Great first experience here — Tony was behind the desk & greeted me as I walked in. I told him I wanted to browse the humidor, and he said to let him know if I needed any help. The walk-​in humidor is huge: probably 12′ by 30′ with a huge selection ($ to $$$, major and smaller brands). I asked Tony for some suggestions & walked out with a few sticks. I will be visiting again to buy more and see the smoke rooms in the back.

Love this place! If you come in for a visit from the south this places’ prices will blow you away. The lounge in back is relaxing and chill too. It’s not like a car lot like most other shops where someone is up your _​_​_​every move you make. But if you need help the employees are great!

Pretty nice find. I wanted an automatic roller as a gift for a freind of mine. They have these little silver boxes that automatically spit out a perfectly rolled cigarette when you close the lid. Ingenious! And to top it off they are $ 8!

Moved to Denver recently and i’ve already found my favorite cigar shop. They have a great selection of cigars, pipes, tins, etc… and everything is well maintained and clean. The staff has been courteous and helpful as well. I drive 7.5 miles just for this store. Great find!

This is the go-​to store in Denver if you are a pipe smoker. The broadest selection of tinned tobacco I’ve found. The back smoking rooms are nifty as well. They are a knowledgable and friendly crew.

Easily the best tobacco shop in the region. The have a huge selection of cigars and other tobacco products. Their humidity is completely under control, no stiff or moldy cigars here. They have a few well decorated smoking rooms in the back and an outdoor patio. A unique and worth the visit.

Great shop, with the best prices and selection in Colorado (which is punitive tobacco tax state). I have found and they still typically give a discount if you are buying a number of cigars. They also have a good selection of pipes ranging from basket and corncobs to higher end brands like Dunhill, Davidoff, etc as well as a good selection on tinned tobacco. The décor has a 19th century feel to it with old posters and furnishings in look at while you enjoy their Montecristo lounge. Worth a stop by.

This is by far the best tobacco shop I’ve been to. Service is great and friendly. If its your first time there, they’ll give you a quick guided tour of the shop. Plenty of pipes and accessories from the entry level to the high end. Tobacco selection was great including a large assortment of tinned tobacco from all the big names, as well as a nice selection of house blends. I’m not a cigar guy so I can’t really comment on that side of things, but the walk in humidor was large and appeared to be well stocked.
The store itself is very nice too. Lots of antique display cases and furniture adorn the sales floor and the two smoking rooms in the back. If you go, be sure to have enough time to sit back there, relax and have a smoke. They even have a smoking patio for the warmer months.

I took a 35 minute bus ride just to come here due to the great reviews and lack of what I needed closer to me (I phoned a «glassware» shop and got a lot of apathetic «uhhh’s» instead of useful info) — gotta say, I’m so glad I made the trip!
I’ve been wanting to get into pipes and delicious tobacco for a while now. I have been into cigars for some time, but wanted something more time-​friendly that I could enjoy properly.
I walked in and — perhaps the headshop stoner’s earlier phone demeanor was contagious — all I could seem to say was, «uhhh, I’m wanting to get into pipes?!» Tom didn’t flinch and proceeded to ask me all kinds of questions to help wade me through my ignorance and confusion.
End result: I feel like I’m halfway to expert! He took the time to show me how to pack and light, how to choose the right tobacco and pipe, how to relight and how to dump and how to clean… Just what I needed as a beginner!
I can’t wait to get home and enjoy my new pipe on the balcony, hopefully with a nice glass of scotch and my beautiful girlfriend at my side.

This is a great cigar and tobacco shop with a really nice selection in the humidor. They’ve got everything from pipe stuff, tobacco for your own rolling pleasures, and a number of rooms that are a bit obscured from the hallway.
Prices for the smokes are reasonable, and they’ve got something to satisfy all the stogey lovers from cheap, beginner smokes to the hardcore high-​end smokes. The staff here is very knowledgable as well. Overall a nice place if only I lived in the area.

Edward’s is unquestionably one of the best places to buy a cigar or stock up on pipe tobacco in Denver. I’ve been going there since 1995 when the humidor was just closet-​sized, and they’ve only gotten better in that time.
