History

Established in 2013.

Ferney’s Lube and Auto Repair has been growing steadily, thanks to our wonderful customers who are kind enough to recommend their friends and families. We greatly appreciate all of the trust they continue to place in us!

Business Owner

Ferney (pronounced FerNAY) was born in Colombia, where he started tinkering with cars at a very young age. He moved to New York City at the age of 20, where worked in restaurants, often more than one job and double shifts, in order to help his parents financially. He got started in the automotive industry here in Denver, first studying at DADC (now Lincoln tech), then working for 10 years at Ralph Schomp Automotive, where he started as a lot tech and ended as a lead mechanic in the Mini Cooper service department. In 2013, he bought Rocco’s Automotive, and Ferney’s Lube and Auto Repair was born! Ferney loves camping with his family, watching soccer, and driving (of course!) in Colorado’s beautiful mountains.

Absolutely awesome service!!! Owner is hard working, personable and very professional and friendly. Santa Fe is a commuter road and this place makes for the most convenient auto service business around. When you need a quick oil change, brake job or so many others car services, this is the place. The staff had my Nissan Murano lubed up and ready to continue my day in record time! The owner personally explained to me the services that were performed and any future maintenance needed. Best experience I’ve had hands down. Thank you, Ferney’s! I’ll be back and I’ll definitely send my friends too!

Needed a new radiator and hoses for my Jeep Liberty… dealer gave me a ridiculous quote so I poked around on Unilocal and found Ferney’s. Reviews are spot on, these guys gave me a very reasonable price and had me in and out the same day. Great service, they even took me back to show me the banged up old radiator with coolant leaks all over the place… then they called to follow up a week later to make sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommended, hope I don’t have any more issues with the Jeep but I’ll come back if I do.

Fabulous service! Ferney took the time to explain everything so clearly, then gave me options on which things to get done. My car is a 1996, runing great now. This is only place I will go for my car maintenance and repairs.

So I was driving to work down Sante Fe and suddenly my car starts smoking! The worst feeling of dread fell over me. I pulled over and popped the hood. A guy driving by said there was an Auto repair place right up the block.
It was Ferney’s – the best possible thing that could have happened to me! Turned out my thermostat housing burst (and needed new radiator hose). They said they’d look at it and it’d be done by the end of the day.
Then, the most magical thing of all happened: They asked if I needed a ride to work. Ferney gave me a ride to work! It was wonderful, let me tell you. He picked me up at the end of the day, went to the shop where I paid and got my car. They replaced the housing with a metal version that won’t ever break again. It was very reasonably priced and I felt confident they were not messing with me at all.
I got a handwritten postcard thanking me and giving me a discount off an oil change. And my car is working spiffily!
I will definitely go there again (for anything) and recommend this shop highly to anyone.

Ferney’s does not just specialize in MINI Coopers, Ferney’s specializes in life. Beginning with the staff, watching Discovery channel while you wait for your oil change, and ending with timely repairs and honest prices, this place is the only Lube and Auto Repair shop for me. My entire family has taken their vehicles to Ferney’s for things such as putting in a new clutch and replacing cracked bumpers. Ferney’s even has a body shop next door that they work closely with and recommend based on an honest reputation. As far as mechanics go, this is the only place I trust with all my auto needs. Thank you Ferney’s for paying attention to detail, to your customers, and for doing things the right way!

Ferney’s is awesome! We took our cars to the prior owner and were a little disappointed when he sold the business. Not any more! Ferney has been excellent. After purchasing a new to me MINI, there were some repairs that I needed to have done. I saw a posting for Ferney’s on a couple of forums and thought it would be worth trying. They were able to get me in quickly and Ferney was able to fix what needed to be fixed as well as give me an idea of what I might have coming up for repairs. Not long after another issue came up and again I was able to get my car in quickly. I am so thankful to have found someone who is so knowledgeable about MINIs and can get the work done quickly. I will definitely be coming back for any other repairs. Thank you to Ferney and his crew for taking such good care of my MINI and Me!
