Greenwood Point Apartment

Over the past two days I have called 6 times, at different times throughout the day, and my boyfriend has called 3 times. Nobody has answered the phone. I have emailed, left voice mails, and still nothing, no response what so ever. It’s pretty frustrating because we really like this place and want to rent here, but it doesn’t seem like leasing is any priority. I’ve called about 10 apartments this week and all at least answer their phone, I can’t get them to leave me alone. Yet greenwood seems to have better things to do. Pretty disappointed about this.

The apartments are nice but we have live her for a year and not worth it for the price. My husband moved us here because it was a gated community that was hidden. He though it would be a peaceful place for our family. Unfortunately we have had no peace here the cops are at these apartments at least once a month. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything the neighbors are doing, and there is never parking after 7pm.

I am happy with my particular apartment here, and I love having a dog park, but we pay too much. That has nothing to do with my one star review. It is all due to the maintenance of the grounds during the winter. Pathetic. My wife spoke to the head of maintenance the other day asking to remove the ice in the area near our apartment. He said, «Not my problem. That is why we have insurance.» I kid you not. She slipped that night two weeks after having knee surgery. She fell again today, and I had to take her to the emergency room. Many many people have fallen and hurt themselves here. I don’t get it. Ice melt is not on their budget apparently and there are little hills all over the place that are becoming mini glaciers in this El Nino winter.

DO NOT RENT HERE. They enter your apartment without my permission and without notice too. Lives here for 3 years and the mail box got broke into twice. Snow in public area never cleaned, I fell twice since November 2014. Parking lot always icy. We are in the period of getting a house. There’s no point for us to extend the contract anymore. This sneaky apartment company, according to Colorado law, the landlord has responsibility to post the notice of increasing rent 10 days before the actual increasing, guess what, they increase my rent by 400 bucks without notice posted at your front door as their usual way of communication. One of my neighbor lived here for 10 years, he can’t stand this company management and moved out. They lost many nice neighbor. The other day I got home late, there are even gang members holding small get together right at the parking lot. Horrible heat/​air system, you can smell your neighbor smoking marijuana from their apartment which makes my entire wardrobe smells like I live in the pot shop. During summer time, there are people having sex in public swimming pool late at night. It’s seriously disgusting. If you want your family live in a safe neighborhood, please listen to me, stay out of here. Renting here is one big mistake. No star.

I lived here, for as long as i could, the maintenance staff has no idea how to fix things, the office staff are even more clueless. They took me to court even though they were in breach of contract. Terrible company, avoid this place at all costs. I would have rather been homeless

Not bad if you can get a discount, but there is no standard price and what you pay will be determined by when you look at an apt. There can be as much as $ 150 difference in the same layout apts. Also, this community is bit out of the way in S. Englewood, near Littleton, so be prepared for Broadway/​Belleview traffic.
If you are an older person or have young children you probably wouldn’t want to live here in the winter as no attempt is made to mitigate problems with icy parking lots and walkways. There will be a serous risk of falls every time you leave and return. Because many parts of the lot is on a slight grade there will be times that you cannot even get your car out because the snow isn’t effectively cleared nor is the ice addressed with salting. The other main drawback is that there are no covered parking spaces at this location, only garages, which are much more expensive than what you would pay for a covered space at most other places. Even these, however, are too small to be used for your car unless you have a compact.
As for the apartments themselves, the layouts are generally spacious, but walls are a bit thin, which makes the place noisy if you don’t have courteous neighbors (an increasingly rare thing these days it seems). That will require some luck if this is your desination, as there was a problem with crime, theft, car break-​ins, trespassing, etc., at this place, which got markedly worse in the last 4 months of my lease. This goes for inside and out as there seems to be a lot of activity in the wee hours of the night, especially on weekends. Although there is a gate it is never kept closed at night, which seems to defeat the purpose. There also tends to be lots of turnover, and you’ll see frequent eviction notices posted on neighbors doors, which sort of sums up this place.
Lastly, maintenance is very overworked and will take long periods of time to fix problems. They will place notes on your door for routine service and then fail to show up on the indicated dates. Other times they will enter your apt., without notice, which can be a problem for people who appreciate privacy or like to sleep in. All in all, I wouldn’t have moved here if I had had more time to search and compare. Far from the «luxury» that they advertise.

The worst apartments in Denver Metro. They are old and run down, fresh paint still doen’t help make these apts. any more liveable. The apt. staff and maintenance are rude, lazy, and very unhelpful. I would keep looking, I wish someone would have warned me about Carmel Partners Properties and «Greenwood Point Apartments» which they dare to call Luxury Apts.
