This place used to be THE best place for Chinese food in Colorado. The owner, a sweet, caring, older Chinese woman, made the experience very personal and authentic. The sad piece of news is that as her health declined and she was around less and less, other members of her family who took over had zero customer services skills, a complete absence of an eye for quality, and just did not belong in the restaurant business. For close to a decade, this spot was my go-to place for Chinese. I would bring family, and friends there whenever I could, and everyone loved it. If the nice old lady who used to run it is still around somewhere, THANKYOU for all the great meals and memories!

This place is closed now! Yay! I hope something good goes in its place. I live a few blocks from this place and the food here was terrible.

Horriable food. I just moved to Englewood and wanted to give the local places so business and check them out. First thing I noticed was the bathroom was very dirty and looked like it haden’t been cleaned in weeks. The food was just as bad. It really takes a lot for me to not eat food. And this place did just that. I ordered the Phở and my girlfriend ordered a chicken plate. Phở was nasty and the meat looked like something that wasn’t meat. Her food was bad, hard rice to soggy meats and vegies. Avoid this place.

Honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Where to start? Just don’t even go. That’s where.

This place USEDTOBE Soo good. I don’t understand what has happened here. And don’t look to the ‘lady’ on the phone to complain, she will yell at you and make you feel like your the one who messed up the order. Ugh. We now order from Bistro King.

I decided to give this place a try and got some food delivered. The woman on the phone was mean and pushy, but that doesn’t really bother me. The food was deilvered in a reasonable amount of time but it wouldn’t bother me either if it took a little long. The food bothered me. I have worked in the service industry for over a decade and I hate to write bad reviews but I feel personally insulted that someone would ask me to pay for this«food» I LOVE cheap Chinese food. I’ll hit up a Panda Express and like it when the mood strikes. What I had all tasted off(tastes like they put Ketchup in the hot and sour soup). Who ever works in their kitchen obviouusly doesn’t give a damn about what they serve. I also think they overcharged me because I calculated my bill to about $ 25 with tax and they charged me $ 28.80(they boast free delivery on the website and I live about a mile away). I was not given a receipt so can’t be sure what I was charged for. Trust me, do not waste your time or money on this place.

The owners must own the building. How else does this awful excuse for a restaurant stay open? In agreement with previous reviewers, the portions are incredibly small and greasy. I ate here on a last minute need to eat something before I pass out stop. There is hardly anything to eat in this immediate area south of Hamdpden. Unfortunately this place does nothing to make up for the lack of food choices here. I ordered a fried rice and Szechuan Beef. There was little to no beef in the dish and the sauce was virtually all corn starch. The fried rice was sitting in a puddle of oil. It is really sad that these owners don’t seem to care. My only question is, how are they still in business???

ZERO stars if I could. After an EXTREMELY unpleasant string of experiences culminating in the rudest delivery driver you can imagine, we were steered their way when our favorite place recently closed. An hour late, I called and expressed my displeasure, so they offered a discount at the door. The SAME rude ass driver shows up and refuses to honor the discount. With grease literally pouring out of the Whole Foods bags they so cheaply use, I sign the receipt and thank the driver. The asshole STEPSINTOMYHOUSE and tells me to give him a tip. I told him that the discount is his tip and a better one is to get the hell out of my house. The sweet and sour sauce has either copious amounts of brown sugar or maple syrup. The over saturation of grease made half of my family sick and on the phone they swore the wontons were vegetarian. They weren’t. Add to that, all of the food was barely room temperature and I am not only done with these swill merchants but I’m LIVID. I will do anything in my power to let everyone know how utterly DISGUSTING this place is and how poorly they treat paying customers.

The worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long, long time and I wasn’t even eating! We did share some crab cheese wantons, I think they forgot the crab and the cheese.

As I wrote my previous review giving them an honest one star. I have now been getting hate messages and compliments. This restaurant needs to accept that people might give them bad ratings. I might have given them a chance, but after having this experience, its definitely a NO!

No stars — at all. The most hideous restaurant experience I’ve had in years. Dirty, unkempt bar area, lousy service, horrid, greasy food, I mean saturated with grease. Tasteless fried rice. Asian woman eating in bar area finally brought us our appetizer after she finished and had rice stuck to her face. Almost comical except for the heartburn that kept me up for a few hours. When we were seated, we were not given menus for about five minutes, and there were all of three tables occupied. Tables never got bused the whole time we were there. There are great Chinese/Viet restaurants just north on Broadway. I’m really sorry that I tried something new. This place needs to get on the Restaurant Impossible show or go away. Sorry mom and pop it’s a waste of money.

After my last trip, which I thought was very disappointing(see my last review), I decided to give Jasmine another shot so I headed over there with my buddy and brother for dinner. This time, instead of looking over the menu I asked the owner(who took our orders) for the kind of food she would serve to a Chinese person, to which she replied, «what meat you want?», and«you want spicy?» — to which my response was«shrimp and spicy please». After a brief wait the owner came out of the kitchen with 3 shrimp dishes, each tastier than the other. I have no idea what any of the dishes were called since non of them were on the menu but I can safely say this was the best Chinese food I’ve had in Colorado! I suppose the secret is to ask for off-the-menu items… unless you’re satisfied with eating sesame chicken… Each dish starred the shrimp, but epitomized the essence of Chinese cooking with a perfect balance between vegetables and meat and a tasty sauce with intricate flavor(not starchy goop like a lot of «Americanized» Chinese restaurants). Jasmine won me over again — I will be back often… If only I knew what any of those dishes were called!

We bought a Groupon a few months ago for this place and finally used it. Not really worth the time or money. Everything was salty and barely any rice. Older gentleman didn’t really know the difference between their Mango Chicken plate and the Super Mango Chicken — just said different sauce… Which doesn’t really make sense. Happy Family was really salty and didn’t have too much chicken or shrimp. Mango chicken tasted almost like plain old sweet and sour chicken — they use the same chicken pieces for both. The older lady brought out plates(finally) when we were done eating, about 15 – 20 minutes later. We just ate of the two main plates. Think we were overcharged at the end… couldn’t really tell since the check just had some scribble on it. We just wanted to get out of there so I paid and we were gone. Bad first experience, so we won’t be back there again.

Unlike everybody else, we didn’t see the nice old Asian lady until we were almost done with dinner. The Asian guy(who I assumed is the owner) acted real busy and didn’t even bother to greet us(which is a little disappointing given we’re Asian and I’m sure he spoke Cantonese!). The non-Asian waitress who served us was very friendly, came and checked on us many times during the course of our meal. But she’s not the smartest: we asked if certain dishes were spicy and she wasn’t sure so she had to ask the owner guy which took almost 10 min! When he came he just very quickly told us, if you want spicy we can make it spicy and vice versa(excaly what the waitress should’ve said to us!). And she gave us plain rice for one of the entrees instead of fried when I specifically ordered fried rice! She also was bustling all night, didn’t slow down a minute, but something she did concerned me! She was using 409 to wipe off tables!(Or something else in a 409 bottle!?) That’s right, if you dine at this place and drop your food on the table, don’t pick it up!!! Now the food, we had the Thai Salad with Chicken and Pan Seared Scallops, both were pretty good. I was surprised to find the taste was not as Americanized as expected which is always a plus! With the Groupon in hand, the dinner came to be pretty cheap. Would come more often if we lived closer…

Surprisingly delicious! Have only had delivery, but nonetheless it was speedy, great portions, & friendly service. The garlic eggplant, pad thai, «samosas» & egg rolls were piping hot, crunchy & tasty. Though, not 100% authentic, I actually appreciate the creative spin on local veggies & fresh preparation. Absolutely recommend.

Best wor wonton soup I have ever eaten. The broth had complexity and a depth of flavor rarely found, the wontons were delicious and not soggy, and the other ingredients added delightfully to the experience. So why not five stars? I don’t think it’s right to give a restaurant five stars on the strength of one dish at one meal… but I will be back to try others, based on this one. A good soup usually indicates a very good chef!

Phở. I spied the word on the marque. Proceeding to throw a tantrum brought on by my phở addiction, the ball-n-chain pulled into the parking lot to stop my whining hoping that a mouth full of noodles would shut me up. I kinda wish he had kept driving. Phở. Not so much. Tasted very packaged, totally full of MSG and just not good. I know the old saying that the best bowl of phở is the one in front of you — eh, I beg to differ on this account. The meat was in giant slabs and tough as shoe leather. The ball-n-chain had the«Bonfire». My first thought was hotter than hot Bön Scott( ) but the plate of food was über sweet, breaded, deep fried meat and doused in basically flavorless syrup. The soft shell crab egg rolls were very good but not so good as to stop again. Service was polite, the place was clean but not a place we will ever try again. Go west, blast some AC/DC, and get a proper bowl of phở. I would give it 2 ½ stars if I could.

The food here is SO unimaginably greasy. I’ve tried it a couple of times and I regret it every time. The fried rice is swimming in grease and so is any kind of meat you get. I would steer clear.

As another reviewer stated, it’s a solid 3star experience. South Broadway is now part of my regular travel routine, adding new culinary options to the repertoire. Today, I was in search of cheap Chinese food for a late lunch. While cruising south on BWY, I spied Jasmine Asian Cuisine, and its sign proudly announcing $ 5.99 lunch specials«or» Vietnamese noodle bowls. Interest peaked, I stepped into an empty dining room. I asked Jasmine Tea(natch,) and the waiter brings an oversized coffe mug to the table, with said teabag and hot water. Main dish was the Garlic Chicken lunch combo, including hot & spicy soup, egg roll and fried rice. The soup was nice and peppery. The main dish was ok, too salty, with white meat chicken. The chicken had an odd, but not unpleasant texture. And the garlic sauce did not have much heat. I may not stop in again, but it’s there and waiting in case my need for cheap Chinese must be satisfied.
