Wow. What a loving place. Karen (Sp?) and her Daughter Lindsey (SP/​) are the sweetest, nicest and most helpful people I have met since moving to Denver 5 years ago. They took the most valuable thing I own, worthless to everyone but me, my beloved birds band, and got it onto a neck chain. It took two tries to get the length exactly as I needed/​wanted it and they responded with pure love to my requests until it was done to my liking. I had searched jewelers for months to get done what they did in a few minutes and the result is not only perfect in its look but perfect because it was done with love. This place is worth a trip from anywhere. Lots of people sell things but Let It Bead puts love behind it and THAT is better than everything. If there is a naysayer here it is because they sadly can not recognize love. If you need beads and the like and you don’t go to Let It Bead you should stay at home. Really nasty customer service. I watched an altercation today where a woman was buying beads and her young son helping her. One of the owners told the boy in a gruff voice to give her the beads he was holding. She told him twice to put them in her hand then he started crying and ran out of the store. The mother paid for her purchase. After the mother left they talked about how that boy probably has never been told to do anything, can’t handle a firm command and was spoiled. They also commented how the mother must not have been very upset because she stayed long enough to buy herself some beads. I was surprised they ranted in front of me.
I noticed they carried some handmade beads, the ones I saw were fairly simple and wondered if they might be interested in carrying some more complex beads since I also make beads. The other woman starts to yell that they had weren’t simple because they had many colors on them and they were by this special local artist. I really didn’t mean to insult the work, but was trying to say I might have something different. When she continued to rant I said then I am not interested. She stood up from her desk and yelled at me that I was a bitch.
Maybe they were having a rough day. I heard her loudly complaining about a situation on the phone, and I see some other very sweet reviews. I know that I would never go there again.

Let it Bead is a fantastic bead store with a very good variety of glass, metal, crystal and rock beads. They carry everything from seed beads to large chunky Labradorite beads. I went to the shop for a jewelry repair and it was ready in two days. I found the owner Karen and her daughter Lindsay to be warm and helpful (& patient! I was in there for almost an hour looking at everything and Lindsay stayed with me showing me some really beautiful beads). Great location, too. I can’t wait to go back!

What a terrible experience I had last weekend — it was my first time, ever, in this store. I’m a keen bead enthusiast and had driven by the sign for this store on Hampden many times. Having some extra time today, I decided to stop in. The woman in the store seemed to be the owner, and she was downright rude to me. Many beads in this shop are sold by weight. When I asked her to weigh some beads for me, she was clearly annoyed. As I was purchasing some beads from the clearance table, I asked for a clarification on the price and she was snippy and unkind in her response. I was tempted to abandon my purchase at that moment but didn’t want to make a scene. I wish people who work in retail in such a small shop would realize how significantly their attitude impacts a customer’s buying experience. The inventory in Let it Bead is fine, but I’ll never go back because of how rudely I was treated by the sales person.

A more helpful duo can’t be found,
this is the very best shop around,
run by a mother and daughter pair,
plus remarkable deals are found there.
The new loyalty card I got last time,
makes it so cheap it should be a crime.
When asked for their expert advice,
they’ve always been accurate and nice.
Remember to check out the bargain bin,
the beads there will make your head spin.

Being from LA, I had no clue where to go. After going to a couple stops that were either really expensive or had no selection, we found this. By far the best selection in Denver and reasonable prices. Even a closeout section with some great finds. Everyone is very helpful and we will continue to shop here.

DON’T GO INTO THIS STORE!!! THEY ARE VERY RUDE!!!
I went into the store to see if I could recreate a pair of earrings where I lost one earring in a pair. I first talked to the store owner, Karen. Then a woman came in with her son, aged about 8 or 9. Karen was then talking to the boy and Karen told me to talk to the second woman. I asked the second woman a few questions and then I went to ask Karen if I could email her a picture of the earring I was trying recreate, because her email was on the business card I was given. The second woman got mad at me and told me Karen was busy talking to her son. The second woman told me that I should not be asking so many questions about recreating an earring and that Karen was busy. It was not like Karen was talking to another customer! I had every right to talk to Karen the Store Owner. The second woman should not have yelled at me! I will not be going into this store anymore and I will be telling all my friends about what happened so that they will not be going into this store either. I HOPE THIS STORE GOES OUT OF BUSINESS, IT WOULD SERVE THEM RIGHT FOR THE WAY THEY TREATED ME!!!

Best bead store in Denver metro area. PERIOD. No other store offers the quality that this store does. The owner is super nice, and helpful. I live in Arvada and I’d travel any day to reach this gem. ;)

My Mom and I were making bead visits around the Denver area while she was here visiting. She is the bead enthusiast and really knows her stuff. She’s been to bead shows in PA and has a collection of beads that may rival some smaller stores.
This place has a lot of the very basic beads, «same old, same old». With this said the place is rather large for a beading store with a plethora of beads — maybe more for the beginner.
We wished there were more unique beads, more hand crafted beads. Keep in mind she already has one of everything.
She did end up walking out with some good finds.
It was very nice to have such exceptional customer service from the owner. Very refreshing and always a pleasure to enjoy during a visit. They also offer a frequenter card for $ 10 or $ 20 off once you spend a certain amount. I can’t remember the amount — woops.

The best selection of beads and findings in all of Denver. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Let It Bead. I will go there for all of my beading supplies :)

After extensive searches across the state, this bead shop is by far the highest quality and best selection. If you’re going to pay retail for beads, this is the place to do it. The best high-​quality gem beads available this side of a gem show. Definitely worth the drive if you aren’t near.

I will travel near or far for beads. Let It Bead is worth the trip!
Their selection is great! They offer stone, glass, a bit of vintage, locally made beads, seed, tools, chain, findings, and even the expensive gems in the glass cabinet that I mostly just dream about.
The best part is that the people who own the shop and their employees are extremely awesome, fun, helpful, and make my time in the store even better.
Plus they don’t do the ½ off bull crap that other beads stores offer that really isn’t half off the price but half off the price that they have doubled to make it seem like they are giving you a deal when they really aren’t.
This place is straight up. You know what you are getting here. They give 10% off to regular customers. I think they also offer classes if you are new to the whole beading thing. I do really love this place.

Let it Bead is tucked away in a shopping district to the west of Englewood Wal Mart. Although small, the shop is well stocked, with an excellent selection. From seed beads to brightly colored pearls, to bead project staples-​this stores offers an impressive inventory in this tiny space. Though more expensive than what you would find online, the prices are reasonable, and I like supporting locally owned businesses. The staff generally sits at a table in the middle of the shop, working on various bead projects. This does not seem to preoccupy them, they are always happy to stop what they are doing to give advice, answer questions, or ring up customers. The atmosphere is low key, with no pressure or sales pitches-​the folks who work here understand that beads are expensive, and don’t mind sharing budget saving project tips.
