Planned Parenthood

Extremely rude staff! Planned Parenthood is supposed to cater to women’s needs, yet the very women that work for this organization treat patients like garbage. I cannot speak for other locations, but I have gone twice now to the Englewood location, and have been treated very rudely. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they close the door half an hour before their closing time. I don’t know what is going on. Perhaps the staff don’t get paid enough, or they hate their jobs. Definitely do not have positive things to say about this location, and it’s truly disappointing as a women who supports Planned Parenthood, and what they’re supposed to stand for.

This place is absolutely the WORST. Not did I wait an absurd amount of hours even after making an appointment, if you need to pick up birth control pills, AND ONLY PICK UP a new pack they will ALSO make you wait. I WAS HERE A MONTH AGO WAITED FOR TWO HOURS FOR A CONSULTATION TO RENEW MY PILLS, and now I been waiting a half hour to get a new pack for the month. I’m done with this place, asked them to give me a prescription so I don’t have to come here they gave me a problem about it I do not recommend this place at all.

This clinic sucks, the staff always want to close way before the actual time. I went there to have a test taken 3 months ago and i have yet to get the results, i called and they keep telling me that they will have someone call me back with the test results but no one ever does. Is sad because the one in Hackensack have some of the same employees…

This place is awful! Avoid at all costs!
I’d been coming here for 10 years, but I guess all of the nice people who used to work here have moved on to some place better by now. Figures…
First off, they implemented some kind of impersonal and weird pin card system, where instead of them sitting you down like a human being and explaining your test results, they make you call in and type in some pin number. Its totally insensitive, impersonal and inhuman. Getting tested for STDs is stressful enough without having to worry about their stupid calling card system.
The receptionist was awful. She was practically bragging about how she doesn’t have to pick up the phone anymore and call people because the robots on the call system do it for her. Uhh that’s pretty sad that they’re proud of avoiding their patients and all the questions that invariably arise when people get their test results. Just gross.
I think the overall worst part about my visit was by far the doctor herself. I think her name was Dr. Yelena Kantarzhapan, I might’ve spelled it wrong. She was a portly blonde short woman. I found it strange that I showed up without an appointment and was able to see the doctor that day. In about 10 minutes time, I found out why. The doctor was horrible. She was super brusque and rude to me, talking down to me the entire time, and correcting me on my answers. She seemed totally impatient and condescending. She was so snarky to me that I didnt even want to ask her any questions. In short, she made me feel like a jerk just for being there. She clearly didn’t care about me or my health because she sent me to some outside lab to get tested for my thyroid and didnt even bother to explain to me the test or how the results would be explained to me. There was absolutely no sense of compassion whatsoever.
The third and final blow was when the receptionist announced my test results point blank in front of everyone in the waiting room. I think there are certain situations that require a bit of privacy and this is definitely one of them! Granted, my test results were all negative, but still! I really don’t need half of Englewood knowing what STDS I just got tested for! Have some sense!
A terrible place to go– I repeat – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
