History
Established in 1988.
My upholstery adventures started when I saw the need to recover my dining room chairs since the vinyl on them had split. As a stay at home mom, I couldn’t afford to buy new chairs so I took apart an old velvet dress and reupholstered the chairs reusing the tacks I took out of the old seats. A few years later I got really bold and took apart the recliner that my mother in law had given us. My husband came home to pieces all over the floor and was very surprised to say the least. To his amazement, (and mine) it turned out really well.
When the kids started school I went to work for a furniture manufacturer and got experience in all aspects of furniture making. In some other shops I gained knowledge and experience in upholstering everything from breakfast nooks to wall panels and making custom cornice boards and headboards.
It has been such a pleasure to work with people and take furniture that is outdated and make show pieces for them.
