History
Established in 1998.
Named after the owners’ first daughter, Lily’s was created to fit perfectly into the beautiful building it inhabits — its décor inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 20’s. It’s beautiful interior enhances the relaxed, yet sophisticated dining experience that is uniquely Lily’s.
Since it’s founding, Lily’s has grown to be more than just an award-winning destination for dinner. It has added a beautiful vintage 2-screen movie theater (Ephrata Main Theatre), banquet space for up to 200 guests, and concessions at the local community pool to its list of accommodations. Every addition has been a natural extension of Lily’s, and the commitment to quality and guest satisfaction has never wavered.
Meet the Business Owner
Steve B.
Business Owner
The former drummer for the band The Innocence Mission, Steve gained the passion for food while touring, especially while recording in New Orleans. Trading drumsticks for spatulas, he helped open Lily’s on Main (named after his oldest daughter) in 1998. He and his wife became the sole proprietors in 2006, soon expanding the restaurant to include banquets. In 2010, they assumed control of the Ephrata Main Theatre, a two screen movie theater located in the same building as Lily’s. Since then, Steve has divided his time between running the ever-growing business and spending time with his active family.
