I am Mary Lynn Rote, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor — owner of ABC’s of Building Better Lives, LLC. We are an outpatient private counseling practice located at 4320 Dexter Avenue, Erie, PA 16 504 — (one of the few counseling practices on Erie’s Eastside). We have created a tasteful, confidential, holistic counseling practice where clients feel safe, comfortable and encouraged to realize their individual counseling goals.

Myself and 3 other clinicians work out of this office — Joe Sarbak, Darcey Locke and Charen Pasky. All of us are seasoned professionals who have extensive experience working with clients who have diagnoses within the DSM-​IVR. We primarily utilize a Cognitive-​Behavioral therapeutic approach and supplement this with others — RET, TA, DBT, Gestalt, Behavioral, Reality therapy, Family Systems, and EMDR. We also provide group therapy on a variety of topics. We primarily work with ages 6-​elderly.
