Lazer Kraze

I have been here several times to play laser tag. It is exactly what you would expect out of a laser tag arena. Two floors so you can shoot from the top down if you want. Three bases you can «destroy» for extra points. Prices was reasonable and the skiball was only a quarter! If you want to play laser tag this is a good place to go. I have never tried the trampoline room.

Went for a birthday party with rowdy 7 year olds and the staff couldn’t have been nice and more thoughtful.

I heard a lot of good things from people in the area about this laser tag facility, but it did not meet expectations, at all. The trampoline area is fairly small. I have gone to other trampoline parks and there is a lot more space for the trampolines and diversity with what they do with it. This space is good for a bouncing game of dodge ball, that’s it.
The arcade is really small with very old games, they still sell the original Silent Scope arcade machine, or was it left by the previous owners?
The laser tag area is pretty nice. I do not have kids and hoped that the kids would not be the majority of players after 9:00pm, but I was wrong. This place may be fun for kids under the age of 15, but is a waste of time for anything over that. It seems this place was designed as a laser tag business and they just kept trying to add aspects in the cheapest way possible. If you like laser tag and live in the area you should go, otherwise not worth it.

From a drifter from the opposite side of the country, I’m proud to say that this place is better than those on the West Coast! I came out to check the Wacky Wednesday deal (which is WAAAAAY worth the bang for the buck), and I left exhausted.
The service there was relatively quick, I have no complaints against the staff. Those on deck were a cool bunch, especially since the crowd was from the 18 – 25 age demographic. On top of that, the snack bar was a twist! I did get to see the jump room, and it was up to spec… especially with the staff tending to it as there were patrons inside. The arcade games were small in number, but diverse in genre… NASCAR Racing (machine #1 on the left) could use some work, but that’s nothing detrimental.
Now… onto the reason I came. The Laser Tag arena was pretty big, and the bi-​level field was impressive! The two-​handed phaser was a big twist for me, but I did adapt to it… I just hope it was all equal in power, some were more potent than others. The amount of players this visit, up to approximately 20, fit half the capacity; we played 8 games this evening over a span of 3 hours.
I will be looking to come back soon! Hopefully for the Saturday version of this event… By the way, are there any big events that you guys do, like overnighters?

Love taking the nephew here, we always have a good time with lazer tag. Is a tad bit expensive for the amount of time, but is worth the running around acting like kids. Trampoline is a bit expensive as well, have only done that once. Need more games in the game room. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I just wanted to say what great employees you had working last night! They were so helpful, and very kind to all the kids we had with us. When another mom and I were going to go in and help get vests on our kids, the one employee who was in the mission room said «That’s ok, it’s my job!» Not everyone is always willing to help out a bunch of little kids, especially when they include a 4 year old, and it was very relaxing to be able to let him handle it and just be able to watch the kids play. The people at the counter were very helpful, answered all of our many questions, and didn’t even seem the least bit put out that we wanted to let the kids jump afterwards, even though it meant that they were having to man the trampoline room for just 5 kids. This was a very rewarding visit to your facility, and everyone involved had a great time!

I’ve visited this place three times.
When you first go in it’s like a glow in the dark room with a bunch of games and in a cramped area. The «service» desk was mixed with the prize area too. Not a great selection of prizes. You can get them off any site so save your money. The service is awful. All the employees looked confused and like they didn’t want to be there. They had pizza, pretzels, and drinks if you are are hungry.
The Party Areas: it’s a horribly cramped area and I don’t know why people rent these rooms out. Or fit people in the room.
The Jump Zone: first you get your shoes (bring long socks or you’ll have to buy some). You go in the big room and put your shoes on while they tell you the rules. The trampoline area is huge! They have balls in the area where you can play a game of dodge ball. You get a get work out and it’s really fun.
The Lazer Zone: you go in and sit (if you’re lucky) on these carpeted steps. They tell you the rules of the game and line you up to go in the area where you put equipment on. This area is ridiculous! Mostly all the lazer equipment is broke. They need to upgrade their stuff! After you get your vest on you go into a glow in the dark room where you play. This area is amazing and there are a lot of places to hide. The game last about 10 minutes or 15 minutes. It’s worth it! After the game is over you put your vest back where they belong and exit into the lobby to see if you were ranked in the top five.
It’s a great place but I would not have a party here! It’s more of a place to hang out at.

Wow. Renting a room was painful as we showed up with a group of excited children nothing was ready for our scheduled time. After waiting at the front desk for an unexpected amount of time finally we were taken to our room… but then told to go back to the desk to get our trampoline socks… why didn’t they give them to our party at the desk while we waited for 20 mins. Or have them already in our party room. Another 10 mins gone. Finally the party was underway don’t bother asking for a manager according to the workers there all managers and the party rooms are run down. Lazer tag was fun though.

I went here for my 9-​year old niece’s birthday party. Now, I am child-​free so this sort of place is absolute torture for me, but this one seems especially awful.
It’s smallish and cramped feeling. There really isn’t anyplace for the parents/​responsible party to sit or be comfortable watching their little «angels» playing on the dozen or so video/​arcade games. The observation area for the laser tag game is like a being in a birdcage. A dark one. With a bunch of other birds (people). The metal chairs in the «trampoline» area are uncomfortable and you can’t see anything so forget taking pictures of any «special moments». And the party rooms are small, ugly and uninspiring.
The food choices are predictable. Pizza. Soda. Soft pretzel. Soft pretzel with cheese. I’m sure it’s all very kid friendly but if you’re older than 12, you’ll be miserable.
I’m sure there are a lot of better options when planning a birthday party for a youngster in the Northern KY area. I suggest you investigate them. I’d look for one with a bar.

Upon arrival, this place reminds me of Pizza Planet (yes, from Toy Story). Yes, we still watch kids’ movies at my house.
We had received coupons from Kenton County Library for summer reading, and enjoyed the final day of the «free game of laser tag» card.
Nothing too different about this place than the other laser tag places I had gone to years ago in High School. I had frequented Q-​Zar with my friends. Lazer Kraze includes all the typical Laser Tag elements: Arcade up front, Prize counter, ready-​made pizza and food, party rooms, Laser Tag arena, Space-​like decorations.
The Arcade has many updated games and is, amazingly, clean. I am usually pretty grossed out by arcades nowadays because they’re not as popular… games are old and neglected. Not here, I noticed some titles that seemed to be popular with kiddos that had high-​end graphics and tons of ticket-​earning capabilities.
Prize counter was typical… finger traps for 20 tickets… etc. Meh. Subscribe to Oriental Trading company catalog and save some quarters.
Food seemed reasonable in price, but we didn’t exactly want to eat there.
The arena — Nothing to write home about, if you’ve played laser tag once, you’ll recognize the «briefing room» the «vest room» and the actual arena (Where you play). The game was simple, shoot opposing team and destroy their base, get points. I think they have other games to play, and specials available for weekends. Pay attention to these — seems like there are good deals going on there (3 games on Saturdays for kids under 12… not bad!) I think we played for about 15 – 20 minutes.
Games are $ 8 or two for $ 14. I’d say that’s a fair price, but not a cheap game.
Bonus: there’s a trampoline court here (A La «Jump Zone»). Though much smaller than the trampoline-​devoted businesses, it has all the thrill of angled-​sides, etc. And my son was tired afterwards. $ 8 per 30 mins, $ 14 for hour for that, too. $ 8 for a guaranteed full-​nights’ sleep? That’s a deal!
Customer service: while not ‘over the top awesome,’ staff was friendly and attentive when we needed something.
Over all, good points for cleanliness and trampoline in back. We’ll probably be back when it’s time for indoor-​fun.

Love this place. Never gets old. best place in florence if u just wanna have some fun an be a kid again. I recommend lazer kraze for all ages not just kids.

Went here for trampoline dodgeball which was super fun! Highly recommend joining a game if you can. Overall, this place is a little out of the way and a bit run down, fully expect to be run over by a toddler, but all in all it’s cool for what it is a family fun entertainment center.

I partook in the laser tag league here and it was such a blast! (No pun intended… or was it???)
The arcade area is small, but children will be entertained for hours; however, if you’re an arcade-​loving adult, you will be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and will «brief» you on the laser tag rules before going in.
The laser tag arena itself is pretty nice with two levels, lots of little hiding spots, and a few options of game play. The downside to this arena is by comparison to others I’ve been to, this one is very well-​lit. It’s very strange to me to have so much light in a laser tag arena, but after a few games I got used to it. (Just remember not to wear any other color than black!!) There are also some vests and guns that are in need of some fixing, and some vests and guns that are better than others. Choose wisely!
One thing that sets Lazer Kraze apart from other laser tag places is that they have trampoline dodgeball! I have yet to try it, but I’ve heard nothing but awesome things.
Overall, you can’t go wrong here, but here’s a tip: beware of the parking lot — there is a major blind turn as you enter and exit it… so drive carefully!

Unilocal! And Lazer Kraze Also treated me to an evening of fun. I see most of the good points outlined in the other reviews left by Unilocalers! I just have a few points I’d like to touch on.
1. Trampoline dodgeball is a game for the young. It is fun, Fact, but at moments I was truly doubting the poor decision making that lead me to this «fun“I was having. I bowed out before the session was complete. It’s really exhausting!
B. The arcade, while non meant to be the center of attention, is a bit sparse. They have the standards but nothing that will get you excited!
Last. This place is awesome!!! I really enjoy these one stop shop entertainment destinations and Lazer Kraze doesn’t let me down. Endless amounts of fun + awesome pizza = good times.
Note: I thought to mention that we had the opportunity to play under ideal circumstances (there were only adults present as it was a Unilocal!event) but after several games of Lazer tag with these «adults» I can say that it will be fun regardless of the age of the participants! Well played Unilocalers!

I hadn’t played Laser Tag since my 30^th birthday party. That is, until earlier this year when I decided that my current school semester could use some laser tag related stress relief. Now, I am one of the worst ever at Laser Tag, but knowing I suck doesn’t make it any less fun. It’s still fun to run around like «Pew pew pew» even when you know you’re going to be pwnt.
So I jumped on the chance to go to the Unilocal sponsored event, even though I didn’t know anyone else who was going. And I had a blast anyway.
The location wasn’t too hard to find, even at night, so that gets it a plus. The place was clean, from the game room, to the meeting rooms, to the restrooms. Triple plus awesome!
I enjoyed the brand new trampoline room, which was a bit scary at first, for those of us without health insurance, after signing the waiver form and all. The staff, however, was really good about explaining everything and setting nervous minds at ease.
And as the person who took the dodgeball to the head, and ended up with broken glasses, I should probably address the situation. If you can’t see without your glasses, and cannot wear contacts, it would be awesome if they had some kind of protective eyeglass covering for those of us who don’t want to superglue our glasses back together because someone was a bit too forceful with a ball. (Major props to the guy with the wayward ball — *snicker* — he was very apologetic, super glue sorted it out, and all is well, no big deal.) Oh, and major awesomeness on the part of the staff, who stopped the play until all the pieces were found. Seriously, y’all, how big a deal could it have been if I stuffed the broken piece in my bra, pushed the remaining arm back on my ear as best I could and played another game?
Anyway, the main event, of course, was the Laser Tag itself, and it was probably the best course I have played on, even though I am so very awful at it. I am hoping to get a group of folks I actually know together soon, so I can be pwnt by friends instead of strangers. Good times!

I haven’t been lazer tagging in at least 10 years, so I’m sure that the technology has improved greatly, but I was very impressed with Lazer Kraze! I could actually see where I was shooting thanks to the green laser and there was a point to the laser tagging other than just to shoot people. I loved trying to get the other team’s base and searching for the hidden base!
In addition to their namesake, Lazer Kraze has also opened a giant trampoline room used for air dodgeball. I’ve never been a dodgeball fanatic — I would commonly be the kid picked last, but when adding the joy of jumping up and down on giant trampolines I couldn’t resist! Trampoline-​jumping was much more tiring than I remembered, but just as much fun!

Not having visited a lazer tag arena in ages, I will give my impression based solely on this one visit. This one epic visit. So needless to say, I was in a group of 40 adults, so there were no little ones to taint my experience, nothing but adults having good, youthful fun. The equipment is top notch, you can SEE the lasers! and that makes such a huge difference, you can earn power ups, which really do give it the feel of a living video game.
the trampoline arena is crazy fun, and strong, I’m a bigger guy (250+) and I DID NOT BREAK IT! you have no idea how great that is. If you can get a group to go… GO, if you’re by yourself… call me, I’ll be your wingman.. .

I also attended the Unilocal event at the Erlanger Lazer Kraze on January 19^th. Oh boy was it a great time! I had never played (or even heard of) trampoline dodgeball, but I can now say that it is totally awesome and something that I want to do again.
They provide you with some crazy neon and black velcro shoes to wear while in the trampoline arena. People with certain kinds of belts might have to take them off, try to not have really loose pants on when you play. That could make for an interesting night.
Couple of tips:
Don’t wear yourself out by jumping all over the place in between rounds. It is much more of a workout than you would think.
Start in the back rows as you are less of a target.
Move around!!! Ever heard of the phrase sitting duck?
Don’t try to throw the balls with all your might. Rather just try to have good aim and try to throw at people not looking at you.
People with glasses: either leave them on a chair, or wear some contacts. Someone had their glasses break from a ball to the head.
I am kinda terrible at La (z)ser Tag, but their arena is pretty cool and has two levels. I’ve played laser tag before at other places and LK’s arena is great, almost too complex for an amateur like me.
It appears that sitting in a corner and sniping is the best strategy, but rather boring in practice. I chose to walk around and explore the area. Granted, I was hit more times than a red headed stepchild, at least I had fun.
Once your laser tag match is over they provide you with individual print outs of your shooting statistics. If you are like me, it was a little embarrassing to view.
The workers were friendly and served us quickly and correctly.
The arcade while smaller than most mega arcades, has some really good games including Crazy Taxi, a favorite for a few of us Unilocalers.
Parking is ample and right by the building.
In closing, I’ll probably try to suggest any future bachelors have a doodgeball and pizza party here before heading out to other activities. The only other thing they could add would be paintball and then this place might have a line out the door.

It was still a lot of fun. And the air dodge ball is not just fun, but a workout too. I left there as sweaty and out of breath as any time I’ve spent in the gym.
The only think I would recommend they improve is the food. The pizza was very greasy and thin.

The trampoline room was pretty cool, but let me tell you it’s definitely a work out! Air dodge ball is super fun, but it sure is tiring.
Now, the lazer tag is another story! I have never played lazer tag before, but I think I’m going to start now! The area was two levels, with two team bases (red and blue) and a secret green base. There were all kinds of things to hide behind, duck behind, and cut out holes to shoot through. At the end of your game, you get a print out with your score: the team scores, who you hit, who hit you, where and how many times, etc. The bottom of the score sheet also tells the specials they have, such as all you can play Wednesdays from 6pm-​9pm.
The pizza was just what I wanted from a place like this: greasy and good!
Overall, it was a super fun night, and I can’t wait to go back with friends!

This lazer kraze is amazing! Not only does it have a large multi level laser tag arena. It also has an American Gladiators like Air Dodgeball Arena! I was a bit worried about the dodgeball at first at how dangerous it may be. It is well padded and you can’t get too crazy that you’ll hurt yourself. It is a definite work as well since you’re bouncing all the time. A great experience.
The laser tag area was spacious with 2 levels and plenty of areas to duck and hide. The equipment was well kept as well. The lasers and jackets all worked and they weren’t sweaty gross either. At the end of the games, you get an individual score card print as well of how you did overall and against each opponent. I would say this is the best laser tag in the area.
