Meet the Manager
Bernard R.
Manager
Master Chef, baker and chocolatiere; started his career over 45 years ago in his childhood hometown of Herry, France where he worked in a local bakery during his teenage years while still attending school. He moved to Paris, France and attended Le Notre Culinary School where he mastered the art of French cuisine and baking. He also attended various chocolate making seminars and workshops in Paris, France. He worked for a number of prominent restaurants and bakeries in Paris and eventually opened his own bakery which he successfully operated for almost a decade.
In 1983 Bernard migrated to the United States and worked for various bakeries before joining A Delight of France in 2003. He specializes in croissants, French breads, French pastries, including, fruit tarts, meringues, cakes, etc. and a wide variety of chocolates including chocolate candies and truffles.
