ACE Ranch

Worst experience ever with Ace Ranch (
) — they are selling avocado, lemon, limes, orange and grapefruit. They are selling their produce in farmer markets in Los Angeles area (Studio City, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Larchmont Village, Calabasas, Burbank and Hollywood).
I have been shopping in Hollywood Farmers Market for years, I only support the local farmers but I was in shock the experience I had with the owner of Ace Ranch Ehsan Afaghi. On his site (
) he is asking to support the local farmers where he doesn’t care about his supporters at all. He is the rudest farmer/​person, I have ever encounter:
He has a sign «DON’T TOUCH» on his produce (mainly on avocado) — this girl touched a few avocados and he literally hit her hand by telling her — do not touch anything — this poor little girl was absolutely in shock, she was very scared and left immediately without purchasing anything. Next — unfortunately it was my turn to be attacked by this violent guy/​seller (owner Ehsan Afaghi) where I asked him for a ripe avocado — he refused to sell them to me and his reply was «don’t you ever come back» — wow, I was in shock — who does that ???
My fellow Unilocalers, and shoppers in local farmer markets in Los Angeles area — please be aware and don’t support Ace Ranch, there are many other local farmers who deserve your business and appreciate it greatly.
I never thought I would write a review about a local farm (Ace Ranch — Escondido, CA 92 026), but this guy (owner) is in many local farmer markets — I’m really scared of this guy after I saw how he treated this little girl. Be aware!
