Acura of Escondido

I came in the other day with a ton of questions, and Peggy was there to answer everything l, and was very nice. We where car shopping for about two hours, and she was super nice the entire time, and the best part was, she got me into a amazing car! Definitely recommend to ask for Peggy!!! I will be back!

So much better than Acura of Carlsbad! Service enter is very polite and courteous and even talked me out of an unnecessary oil change. I will not be returning to Carlsbad for service, Acura Escondido has my business!

Whoops he did it again… Phil Cabuzzi that is :)
I needed to trade in an older Acura I had purchased from Phil… for a newer 2016 model. I literally took the car out of the showroom. Phil Cabuzzi is… and has always been super professional, ethical and has taken his time with my husband and me. Most importantly he gets the job done quickly — out of the door without a 3 hour wait –like other dealers. Now that we have teenage drivers — we feel Acura makes a superior and safe product for our kids to drive as well. We have always been an Acura family … and have really relied on Phil to guide us. Our loyalty remains with Phil Cabuzzi and the Acura of Escondido team.

I have decided to change my review only because of two people at Acura of Escondido:
Javier and Abagail.
They both worked above and beyond to talk me off the ledge and make me realize that there are still people left in the world that care.
What started out as a bad experience turned into a great one. I want to be clear – I have yet to take possession of a great car. The car that would really help my family out and one that looks great and was taken care of is still there.. .waiting for someone else to snatch it out from under me.
So be it.
But I was ready to walk away and never look back. Javier was able to let me see the light and made me feel positive about Acura. And from my end, without getting into specifics of what happened, that is a huge deal.
Even if I am not able to get a car I really want – that is ok. I will try again. I hope the GM and Penske realize that Abagail and Javier are a tremendous asset to the team. I initially considered editing my original review if the deal went through, but I did not feel that is right. Why? Because it would feel like I only did so because they helped me get a car I really want. In my eyes, they already did their job and much more. Many companies that have commissioned employees thank the value is in the dollar signs and they never see the countless things some employees do that is far more valuable then money. I just wanted to let anyone know who is reading this, that I am thankful enough that I was helped and was treated with respect and class.
**I née someone there to put some mojo on that car so it is invisible to anyone else that might walk by! I don’t care if it is not some brand new TLX– I have seen it before – something that doesn’t sell forever, then one person walks by and falls in love, goes home to get money, then five minutes later another person walks in and buys it on the spot.**

After a long day hunting for a car and going from one dealer to another, we came to Acura Escondido. Phil approached us and guided us around. He was the most knowledgeable and helpful salesman I came across throughout my search for a new car. He went above and beyond helping me to find my dream car. He made sure I leave satisfied and happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership and Phil as your salesman.

I was on autotrader and saw that there was an Acura TLX 2016 for sale $ 23,635. I called and spoke to Ashley I asked her if this was the real price and if they had it in stock. Ashley replied yes, I also explained that I was driving from the LA area to buy the car. So I get to Acura and low and behold the car was not on sale, supposedly it was a typo and it was Autotraders fault and not their fault. They did not honor the vehicle price and i wasted 80 miles each way! I was upset and will never do business with Acura AGAIN! DO NOT PURCHASE CARS AT ACURA OF ESCONDIDO THEY DO NOT HONOR PRICES!

Bad customer service. I called requesting some pricing, they took my information but never bothered to call back. Tried E-​mailing for some information as well and never got an E-​mail back. I guess if I have a question I need to actually come to the dealership and ask in person.

I was totally blown away by their service department. We brought our MDX here for an oil change for the first time last week and the service was top notch. Brad, their Client Service Manager was super helpful and extremely accommodating. It was determined that we needed new tires and the power steering pump needed to be repaired. Brad made sure we were taken care of for the weekend, and set us up with a loaner car, and found us the best deals for four new tires. We will now only bring the MDX to Acura of Escondido for any future repairs. They ROCK!!!

First time buyer here and was on a hunt for a car and came in at this location without expectations. Glenn approached us and was very helpful and personable. I was eyeing on a few older ILX models and Glenn was knowledgeable (as an ILX owner himself) gave me an in depth tour and information about the car. Came in the following day and drove the car home with me. Thanks Acura Escondido team for the warm accommodation and for making the experience seamless although we had a few set backs. We went to the dealer with no expectations. We needed to make a decision whether to lease, turn in the car, or purchase. Abigail gave us an immediate option that was an obvious choice for us. Based on our current situation, timing wasn’t on our side but Abby gave us a great deal in which we turned in our 2013 ILX for a brand-​spanking new 2016 ILX lease. $ 0 down, same monthly as the prior lease from before and a new model ILX? No-​brainer! We took the deal and we even got out in under 2 hours. When do anyone leave a dealership within that time frame? No one but us! Abby and the crew went straight to the point and got us a deal that we were extremely happy with. The best transaction! Thank you Acura of Escondido!

Acura of Escondido is my favorite dealership in San Diego! Phil Cabuzzi has sold myself AND my boyfriend excellent Acura cars and the whole experience of buying the car was very enjoyable both times.

11 days after the disaster this company had with me, they call me to see if I’m interested in the Ford focus I originally went there for. So I asked if they had the Ford focus or if it was sold the original day I showed up. And of course the lady on the phone tells me ‘oh unfortunately you are right and the focus was sold a time ago, can I interest you in another vehicle.’ Worst car dealership I have been to. Save yourself and go somewhere else. We got our car from Mossy Nissan in Poway. I work recommend you go there instead

We came here to buy a car we found online. We were very happy with our purchase. We ended up driving over 100 miles to make this happen, and it was well worth the trip to find the exact car we were looking for.
Our sales advisor, John, was extremely pleasant and helpful through the process. He especially went to bat for us regarding the trade-​in value of our former vehicle.
Shout out to the GM for accepting our asking price for the trade-​in.

This is a review for the service department in Acura of Escondido.
This was my first interaction with Acura of Escondido, but have taken my TL into three other dealerships (Virginia, North Carolina, and Kearny Mesa). I’ve had great experiences (as great as repairs can be) at most dealerships, but have to say I felt I was best treated at this location.
My case was handled by Brad, who diligently and professionally worked to fix the issue, which ended up being a warranty repair. Brad provided constant communication with almost daily phone calls, so I never had to worry if my car was being taken care of.
Common among every Acura dealer I’ve encountered, I was provided a new TLX to ensure I could carry on with my daily life.
There were slight delays in the completion of work on my vehicle. Brad apologized profusely when he had to inform me my repair would take a bit longer as they needed to order sizable parts.
Although the service I came for was to be covered entirely by warranty, Brad made it a point to ask if I wanted to get some aspects of future scheduled maintenance done as long as the engine was out of the car. Without being pushy, he informed me of the cost to conduct the scheduled service as a separate visit, vice adding the service to the warranty-​covered work already being conducted. He made a conscience effort to save me money.
I also appreciated that Brad did not attempt to speak to me as if I didn’t know anything about cars. I’ve built, upgraded, broken, and replaced numerous engines when I was younger, and it felt nice for Brad to speak to me as a «car guy,» without holding back the use of acronyms, and technical jargon.
tl;dr: As long as I continue to drive an Acura, I will continue to use this service center.

I’ve taken my Acura there once for a scheduled maintenance. I’m usually leery about taking my car and money to dealerships since they charge a premium for crappy service and mediocre work.
Acura Escondido was pretty pricey but no more than any other dealers. Service was straightforward and courteous. They gave a courtesy loaner and the service work was done in a timely manner. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience.

Let me some up the review by saying it was Awesome, exciting, fun and fast dealing with Phil Cabuzzi at Acura of Escondido. I actually almost bought a car from another Acura dealership closer to my house but the entire experience nothing short of a waste of time and useless due to bad customer service. So I contacted Costco and they connected me with Acura of Escondido where I was contacted by Phil Cabuzzi.
From the very first call I knew he was going to do everything he could in my best interest to get me the exact car I wanted for the price I was happy with and he did exactly that. He was cool, friendly, excited for me to buy the 2015 Acura TLX, got all the paper work and financing done in under 2 hrs, and took the time to show me how to use all the teach stuff in the car and before he let me drive off he gave me his cell phone number in case I needed anything or question about my purchase.
Trust me on this point. I shopped and shopped and other dealerships could care less about what car I wanted to buy BUT Phil and Acura of Escondido will make you feel excited about driving home a new car.
