We are a small, locally owned company providing friendly and affordable in-​home major appliance service in North San Diego County.

We service most brands of major appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, disposals, and microwaves.

As a small company, you will never see our ads on television, or hear our jingle on the radio (not that we have a jingle!) Our low overhead helps us keep our prices low. The way we see it, a satisfied customer is the best advertisement around. Repeat customers and referrals are the bread and butter of our business.

Established in 1995.

I highly reccomend Advantage Appliance, Inc. You can count on first rate workmanship, honest answers, fair pricing and great customer service. I’ve used Advantage Appliance several times over the years. I’m thankful for people like Craig who I can trust and know will do an outstanding job repairing any of our appliances. Most recently he repaired our double ovens on December 23, 2015 (whew!) and next week he’ll come by to take a look at our clothes washer. Craig is now my go-​to for appliance repairs. Got my range up and running inside of 30 minutes.
Advantages:
–easy to schedule
–two hour service window
–on time (!)
— reasonable prices
–range repaired — no second visit needed
–I’m told Craig repairs a wide variety of appliances and brands.
Disadvantages
— can’t think of any *shrug**
Little secret: Craig carries Milk bone dog biscuits on the truck in case there’s dogs at the repair site.

I have been using Craig for all of my appliances for years, and can’t say enough good things about him. He knows his stuff, and has fixed everything the same day and at an extremely reasonable price. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my appliance repair needs.

My Whirlpool Duet dryer stopped working and I decided that if it could be repaired inexpensively I would wait to replace it. I made an appointment for Craig to come out. He is busy so I had to wait a few days but I took that as a good sign. He quickly determined that the problem was a blown circuit board and showed me the board. He said he could order a new board and replace it or that he could try and solder it back together inexpensively while he was here. I had him solder it and the dryer is now running again. Craig told me that he and his wife run the business and that he carries most common parts with him. I would definitely recommend him for any appliance repair.

Five stars, all the way for Craig! This is the second time Craig has come into my home to repair an appliance. He is one of the most honest, hard working and nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He totally saved the day for me with my dishwasher. Then he made a miracle happen and came through for me and for our whole family, when he fixed my oven the day before Thanksgiving. I’ll never forget it. This is a super nice mom-​and-​pop business that I’ll always support and recommend. I can’t thank them enough!

Craig came to my condo to fix my broken dryer. The belt was old and had apparently broke. He was very nice and knew exactly what he was doing. He had my dryer up and running in less than 20 mins. I was surprised and impressed to find out that the business consists of just him and his wife. I will definitely use Advantage Appliance again and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Called to schedule an appointment to repair my refrigerator (broken relay and/​or compressor). The lady on the phone was nice until I told her I couldn’t wait another two days for a repairman. Then she turned cold as ice and said I should have called yesterday. She won’t have to worry about me calling again.

Craig quickly diagnosed problem with our gas range, and repaired it at very reasonable cost (he offers seniors & military discounts too). We had been quoted $$$$ by other appliance «service» companies in our area. We will definitely call Craig again if another large appliance needs fixing.

I have had Advantage Appliance, Inc. to my house for 3 different appliance repairs now. (Oven, dishwasher and laundry washer). I liked Craig, the owner/​operator from the beginning and kept his card on hand, so whenever I need appliance repair, I just give him a call. He’s polite, personable, trustworthy, knows his stuff and is able to fix things either right then and there or order a part if necessary. I recommend him.
