All Express Plumbing

Nothing but good things to say about these guys. I was having difficulty scheduling with another plumber through my home warranty but when I called the home warranty yesterday they set me up with these guys and I got my problem fixed the very next morning!

I had a water heater replaced for 1900 total a power vent rheem. I thought I could save money and time but I have wasted time with this company. The receptionist is clueless and incompetent. John is an crooked plumber. They do not install work correctly and are last people you should use as a plumber. Last night I called them again to check on my water heater turns out it was their fault for not installing the flu correctly. I called ars rescue rooted and they replaced the pipe. It was because these incompetent plumber s at all express plumbing and made the pipe to small. I would never let them work on my water heater again. They are the worst and should have license taken away

I agree with most of the complaints, work hasn’t started yet and the manager John or whatever his name is has my wife waiting for hours and said’s he forgot like it wasn’t a big deal. After inspection he explains they will call within 24 hours and doesn’t of course to let us know what’s next. A few days later receiving a call about the amount we need to pay because the warranty company will not cover everything due to some lame ass reasons what a rip off. Hopefully my work gets done well if I have to continue dealing with them.

We waited for a plumber to come out for days to check out the water heater, gas tank and toilets which were clogged. After having them come out for some of the same issue multiple times. We stay in Valley Center and so it seems plumbers from Escondido don’t always like to take the extra 10 min drive.

The plumber showed up again between 8 am –8;30am and no one was home. The agreement was to come between 10am-​2pm. He called but we couldn’t get back to him. and we had to wait another day for them to come back out again. $ 60 for the plumber to later tell us it’s a bigger issue but cant help in the meantime. One week with no functional toilets now. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend them.
Says were not covered and he would need to comeback with someone else and it would be $ 300
We’ve used them in the past and never showed up and later told us they had other emergencies. Worst customer service too.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I let these crooks work on my house.
They were referred through Fidelity Home Warranty because our toilet line had backed up and I wasn’t able to clear it w/​my 3 ft auger. Their arrival window was between 1 – 4 PM and they arrived at 5:30. They said they would need to pull the toilet off, which would be $ 75 and not covered through our insurance. I said okay. After 2 hours of augering and snaking, Mel and his helper decided they would need to water jet, but they didn’t have the equipment so they would be back the next day at 8 AM. The cost would now be $ 400 and not covered by our insurance. I said okay since we absolutely needed this done asap. They arrived at almost 9 AM and were able clear the drain after an hour and a half. Then for payment he wanted $ 475. I said I thought it was $ 400 and he insisted I was incorrect; the water jet was $ 400 and the toilet removal and reinstall was $ 75. I paid. They left my house filthy. I called Fidelity for them to explain why this wasn’t covered and they said it should have been, so while they’re investigating with All Express I’m still out $ 475.
TL:DR — Not punctual, they don’t carry the proper equipment, they lie to the home warranty insurance company to make the homeowner pay out of pocket, and they strongarm you to pay a different amount than what they originally quoted. Will never use again.

This is the third rental unit that John has worked on. Everytime he has been professional and his service timely and quality. This last one was a condo with a small hot water heater that was not easy to find. I did my research, found a hot water heater but I had to order it, John did some checking and found one from a local supplier. They came out and did the job in 2 hours and cleaned up and did a great job. I do plumbing myself, but there are times it’s worth getting a professional… Thank you John, you have always come through and at a reasonable price.

My home warranty company sent them to check out my water heater. They came out, took a look, not a thorough look, and said my heater needed to be replaced which will cost me $ 350. The extra money is for the unnecessary modification they would need to make in order to replace the heater which is not covered. Me being the person that I am, questioned them, and at that moment, determined they were not going to touch nothing. First of all, the leak was come from the top, dripped down the side, and caused the puddle. Second, the water heater was not leaking from the bottom at all. I am not an expert plumber, but I am quite familiar with the signs and symptoms of a busted heater, and this was not it. They proceeded to tell me the heater was old and just needed to be replaced. Third, they asked if I was the home owner and asked to speak to my husband. At this point, I shut them down, and dismissed their services. My home warranty calls me back to tell me they recommended the heater to be replaced because it was leaking from the bottom. Interesting, because the write up read, water heater leaking from the top with no explanation of where and why. I requested a second opinion immediately! The second company came out, agreed the water heater is old, but in repairable condition. He did a thorough assessment, and determined the heater was not leaking from the bottom, and replaced the hot side flex. Yes, in time, I will need to replace the heater. And, the company told me to call them because he can make the slight, if any, modications work. In other words, just pay the service fee. Make a long story short, Stay away from «ALL EXPRESS PLUMBING!» If you want to be ripped off and insulted, this would be the company to call.

We were referred to All Express Plumbing by Fidelity home warranty to repair our garbage disposal. They sent over a tech Saturday morning who showed up without the part that was needed (the garbage disposal) and explained that he «had just used his last garbage disposal earlier» even though it was 9 am, which makes his story unlikely. He then scheduled a 9 am appointment for the following Monday. Monday came and no phone call or technician. I called and complained to fidelity and they got All Express to come out Monday afternoon. By this point they have wasted the better part of two days by making us wait on techs and speaking to «customer service reps» on the phone. Not sure if this is how they operate or if it was a a series of mistakes made by a few of their employees but my experience with them was no good. They wasted my time and never even offered an apology.

Thank you for coming out today and snaking the drain on our house. My normal plumber was busy and I just got your name from a friend. John was very polite and courteous even though he was doing a dirty job.
I would not do this job and come out as dirty as he did for $ 99. He had to get under my house loosen something and snake the drain from there.
I highly recommend John and his staff to anybody who wants a fair price plumber.

By far one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. I’m in the business and deal with home warranty companies all the time. I called about my broken water heater. They took the call as an expedited call which in the past the problem was completely fixed same day. Before they arrived I sent them a photo of my water heater so they could bring the correct heater. 2 Russian guys showed up saw water standing under the heater and told me the unit was shot and needed to be replaced… I knew that and mentioned it on the phone before they arrived. They spoke Russian and did nothing to the heater, instead checking out my house & garage. When I asked how long the repair would take they laughed and said it wouldn’t be done today. Had to see what was authorized by the HW. Nothing they said added up. After calling the company 5 times with no returned call, Mary finally answered and said they were still waiting for HW auth, so I called the HW and the plumber never sent paperwork in. They are lairs, unethical and shady. I would not work with this company!!!

This plumber is anything but express. We were provided their services through our home warranty. We called warranty on a Sunday evening after discovering our water heater was leaking, which is a huge and dangerous issue. If you want to scare yourself, look up water heater explosion. I had no idea this was a danger in our home! Since it was a Sunday evening, I understood that we might not get someone right away.
All Express finally contacted us late morning on Monday, and no one was able to come out until between 3−7pm that evening. While totally inconvenient (as 7pm is my young child’s bed time) we had little option but to wait. The plumber showed up about 6pm, didn’t communicate a whole lot and told us our water heater was rusted through and needed to be completely replaced. He also looked under our sink for another issue we were having and water began to leak everywhere again. He was going to just leave it like that, leaking, until I asked if we should put something underneath the drip. WTH?
He said he would return the next day, Tuesday, to fix the issue.
Long story short, after many calls to All Express and my home warranty provider… it took until Friday!!! to get the report from the plumber to warrant to authorize a new water heater and the other fix. Almost 4 full days just to tell us what was wrong and let us know we also needed another $ 350 in work not covered by our warranty. All Express also lied repeatedly, telling us we would get a call tonight, or a call later today, only to never hear from them.
Instead of using their services any further we opted to get a check cut directly from our home warranty and will be using another provider to fix our issue. All Express has the worst customer service and I would never recommend them.

Yet another victim of a Home Warranty company plumbing repair… I was assigned «All Express» which is NOT «expressed» at ALL. After 3 visits, numerous phone calls, late arrival, and no-​shows, I’m STILL waiting for repairs to be completed.
Update: Work has been completed, but I won’t be using them again.

Fuck these shady Eastern European assholes. They will go out of their way to do as little work as possible. Very low quality work. I asked them a question about what they were doing, and the tech said «if you don’t like it find somebody else». He then got up, took his tools and left. Leaving my sink completely dismantled. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I just had Omar come and to take a look at a leaky faucet in the master bathroom that my home warranty people assigned. I always hold my breathe when a warranty company is involved, but i was presently surprised on a job well done. He was here for a bit longer then I expected, but from what I can see the job was fixed and everything returned to it’s place. From what I can tell, I would recommend this company to any family or friends.

They were assigned to fix a faucet leak through our home warranty company. They actually did a decent job. They would have received 5 stars but it took them 2 weeks to come back out after their initial visit to assess the problem. They said it would take up to 5 days to get the part they needed, but I had to call them back to follow up after not hearing from them for 2 weeks. To be fair it did seem like they are a smaller business so perhaps their schedule got full.

This company does primarly Home warranty work, I am a contractor and go behind there sub par work to correct what they screw up and lie to customers about. They tell the home warranties the problem that you have is something else (not covered) so the home warranties like them because it doesn’t cost them much therefore they get more work, they charge the customer saying things aren’t covered so the homeowner has to pay out of pocker for the entire repair. They show up in cars, not stocked work trucks. Most of them speak broken english and are hard to understand (I think they are Russian). This is the land of oppurnity and I believe everyone has the chance to make a living But i still believe in buying American. When you are referred to them buy your home warranty refuse them you will be better off.

I DO NOT recommend this plumbing service @ all. My complaint is directly related to Mary, who answers the phones. She is horrible at returning phone calls, scheduling appointments & keeping customers informed. 6 unreturned phone calls later I had to have home warranty reassign me to another plumbing service. I wish Unilocal would let me rate zero stars!

After working with a terrible plumber that kept cancelling on his appts, I went with All Express Plumbing. They came the same day I called and then installed 2 new toilets the next day. Sam the tech was awesome! Friendly and fast. It was nice being able to call them and have a person pick up right away instead of getting a voicemail and having to wait all day for a call back. Mary their receptionist is on it! She took initiative to make sure that I was taken care of and made the calls to Sam to ensure he was on time.

We had a slab leak 3 week after closing on our new to us home. I contacted the home warranty company which contacted All Express Plumbing. John came the same day and used special equipment to find the leak. It was determined that a hot water line was leaking in the slab and that half of the bathroom (less than a year old after a remodel) would have to be torn out. The home warranty company only covered fixing the leak, but not putting everything back together. It was determined that a credit toward re-​piping would be the best option as the house was over 30 years old. John’s crew came out two days later and busted the main job out in two days. We had a birthday party scheduled at our house and they were able to cut over to the new system the day before the party and cleaned up so we could use the bathroom for the party. Hands down amazing work to ensure we didn’t have to cancel our kids birthday party at the last minute.
To top it off we had the job permitted by the City of San Diego and the inspector was impressed with the work that was performed. We passed the first time without having to do any corrections. Great job!
John delivered on everything he promised and his guys were top notche! I also shopped around the re-​pipe job and the prices were extremely reasonable. Never sure with what the home warranty company will send out, but now we have a plumber for life!
