Great customer service by Lesley and this is why I’m giving this store 5 stars. I went in to look at amope pedi and end up buying due to her great customer service even though I knew it was cheaper at target

For the store only. They always have what I’m looking for and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices aren’t bad either. I come here quite often due to convenience and I’ve never had a bad experience. They have a fairly large makeup section, lots of hair color products to choose from and the usual CVS items you would find in most stores. The large signs above the aisles make it easy to locate anything you may need. I removed one star due to their coupon policy. I would much rather have my reward dollars and coupons added to my card, instead of getting a mile-long receipt. I think they know people rarely use these and this is how they save money. It looks like you get this reward dollars and you are pleased, then you stuff them in your bag and never use them. Wal-Greens adds all your rewards directly to your card and when you use it, BAM! Discounts automatically. CVS needs to adopt this policy.

This CVS always has friendly workers. I love coming here and taking advantage of their sale/clearance items and also using my «extra bucks rewards» coupons. When I came this evening the lady was nice greeting me when I came in. When it came time for me to pay though she wasn’t at the register, probably because she was doing other work at the nearby aisles. It was okay though :) I just had to wait a few minutes and I rang the bell then she came to the front shortly after. «DING!»

It’s your ordinary store to buy all your essentials. All the employees I’ve encountered are always helpful with questions and helping you find things even if it means they have to walk to the aisles and check prices or stock. *Also they have the Mickey Mouse waffle iron here! Very hard to find this anywhere!

This review was based on my experience at the store on E Valley Pkwy only. Pleasant experience and great customer service from pharmacists. Ugly experience from Carla who’s usually at the register. Why? Very rude, insulting, condescending, unprofessional, immature, poor mannerism, lacks customer service and in serious need to be RETRAINED to treat all customers with respect! Small wonder she is where she is! I was snickered not once but twice by her as I needed some questions answered. I spoke my mind and put her in her place the second time it happened as I have reason to believe I was not her only victim because if she can project those behaviours towards me, she can do the same, if not worst, to other paying or non-paying customers. I also called to ask to speak with the store’s manager the next day, but had to overcome some hurdles by some ‘gate-keepers’ who answered my call and REFUSED to tell me his name and what are his hours. After much pressing, she gave me his name-Jose Rubio(?)-but was adamant to divulge in his work hours so that I can stop by to talk to him in person, Seriously? What or where do you think you’re working? And who does he think he is really? Even the big shots working at Tiffany’s & Co. would be more than willing to help me each time I visit the store! This manager probably gets more complaints that he could handle due to his undertrained staff.

When it comes to a Long’s Drug store I don’t care where it is or what its condition looks like outside, I’m just glad to have found one still in business. I LOVE Long’s and always will and have no clue as to why they took all mine away from me in O’side. As long as I can remember from being a kid to about a year or so ago I had shopped at the Longs location that used to be in Oceanside by the I-5 and now its gone! So when I found out last night while in Esco that there’s is still open I couldn’t help but to stop in and shop a bit, its like this calming feeling overtakes me when I’m shopping here. I feel at home in a sense and I know inside that its apart of me. I hadn’t been to this location for about 5yrs and like the O’side one I knew where to go and where to exactly find what I needed! Happiness flooded my veins and pumped happy blood throughout my body! It’s great shopping here the staff was polite and didn’t make me feel rushed even though they were closing in only 10 minutes. I’ll for sure drive all the way to Esco to shop here again when I need something! Happy Happy Joy Joy!
