Companion Animal Clinic is a dedicated team of caring individuals led by Dr. David Knox, MS, DVM. Dr Knox is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University and holds a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology. After graduating veterinary school he began practicing in Merced, CA in a mixed animal practice. The richness of mixed animal practice allowed him to develop a practical and rational approach to medicine.

Dr Knox believes strongly that his most important diagnostic tools are his 5 natural senses. In 1994 the Knox family moved to San Diego to manage a small animal clinic and in 1995 purchased Companion Animal Clinic in Escondido, CA. We have been blessed to be a member of the Escondido community ever since.
