Dennis Duffy--Farmers Insurance District Manager

Stay as far away from this agent as possible. I don’t even know where to start. The agent here, Jacob Van Sloten has not a clue as to what he’s doing, unless you take ignorance or swindling into consideration. We forked over close to $ 400 for two cars and homeowners insurance when we come to find out that the policy never should have been written in the first place. After numerous emails and attempt to get a hold of this guy, we had to call corporate to get some resolution. He was shady about how he helped us to his district manager, blatantly lied about emails (not sure if he’s just dumb or doesn’t realize that emails are a form of non-​repudiation), and never got our issue resolved; the issue that he caused. Run… run as fast as you can if you’re deciding to choose Farmers, at least this guy. I should’ve known not to go with this guy when he met us in shorts and flip flops at our Saturday appointment.
If you do want to go with Farmers, there was a lady named Araceli on 3^rd and Orange that’s part of Farmers group. She has been extremely helpful in getting all of our issues resolved, and she’s not even getting paid to do it. That’s old fashioned customer service and selflessness.

I would sure love to stop getting email spammed by your company. First emails and now text messages. I’m not sure how you got my personal information but this has got to stop. I’ve asked several times to be put on the DO Not Contact list.
