At Escalante Chiropractic, we treat each patient like family, because we believe healing begins from the inside out.

Our MISSION is to educate our community about the many benefits of chiropractic care in order to achieve optimal wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

Our GOAL is to help each patient achieve THEIR wellness goals by tailoring each treatment plan to every patient’s unique needs.

Our FOCUS is not only understanding the patient’s condition, but also addressing Nutrition, Mental/​Emotional Wellness and Lifestyle (work and play) to achieve true wellness.

Our METHOD involves addressing any abnormal spinal curvatures and movement, as well as abnormal posture, through using Mirror Image adjusting techniques, Physical Therapy and Massage for the purpose of stabilizing and strengthening the spine.

Dr. Morales and the staff are fully bilingual (English/​Spanish), allowing for maximum oportunitiy to meet the needs of our vibrant and diverse Escondido community.

History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Morales opened Escalante Chiropractic in 2004 while she was still Dr. Brenda Escalante. She kept the name of the practice to honor her parent’s love and support throughout her childhood and career preparation. Dr. Morales married Pastor Hector Morales, a Community Outreach Pastor at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido. Dr. Morales and Pastor Morales reside in Escondido with their two children.

Business Owner

Dr. Brenda Morales opened her practice in 2004 after working as an associate Doctor for three years. Dr. Morales has helped hundreds of people in North County San Diego over the last 10 years. Her passion for helping people live happier and healthier lives, naturally and without the side effects of drugs or surgery, is what motivates her to reach out to her community every day.

Dr. Morales knows first hand what it feels like to not be able to do what she loved to do because of pain. As a young competitive swimmer, Dr. Morales developed tendonitis in her shoulder, which affected her training and her ability to compete well at the national level. After much frustration and pain, at age 15, Dr. Morales decided she would dedicate the rest of her life helping people live more productive and happy lives without pain.

Day in and day out, Dr. Morales strives to give her patient’s the best care possible with God’s help and direction.

I met Dr. Brenda at her wellness fair on 10÷25÷15. My mom is a current patient of hers and I wanted to meet her and have her do an exam on my 5 year old son, hoping she would be able to help his allergies and Asthma. I took my son in for an evaluation, and was surprised and thankful of how patient and understanding Dr. Brenda is. My son was terrified to get xrays done. Dr. Brenda talked with my son and waited for him to get comfortable. She had other patients waiting, so she would go treat her patients then come back and chat with my son. We were in her office for 1 hr before she and I convinced my son xrays are painless. I will be taking my son for therapy, with Dr. Brenda, and I trust she will take great care of my child.

We were on vacation in San Diego and my 9 year old daughter hurt her neck (no doubt sleeping on a crappy hotel pillow).
We arrived at the office to see if she would adjust her at 8:30 am. The staff was nice and said they didn’t know if she would see her. After speaking with her, Dr. Escalante agreed to assess her. She was sweet to my daughter and was very very thorough with her exam and treatment. My only complaint (minor) was that it took over an hour to be be in and out, which is an eternity when you are on vacation and when your daughter is in pain. However, she was very busy and was squeezing us in without an appointment, so I really can’t complain too much.
I would highly recommend Dr. Escalante. If you live in this town and she is your chiropractor, consider yourself lucky.

Dr. Morales has changed my life! I came to her with severe, debilitating knee pain. I had gone from 6 miles on an elliptical to not being able to walk around the block without being in pain. I couldn’t go up the stairs or do any kind of exercise. I went to my primary dr. and had x-​rays done. I was told it was runner’s knee and there was nothing they could really do but send me to physical therapy and that I should «stay off it.» After 9 months of this I approached Dr. B for a different approach. In 6 months I had more than 80% improvement in pain, and quality of life. I can do 4 miles now no sweat and can not believe the improvement in health and emotional well being. It’s a professional and clean environment with a touch of friendly care. My well being matters to Escalante Chiropractic and yours will too!

Doctor Morales and her staff genuinely care about how I am feeling. If I am having a pain I can call and get an appointment pretty quickly and find relief.
Adjustments, x-​rays, physical therapy, massage, and hugs… they’ve got it all.

Got in my car when leaving my appointment and had to READJUST MY MIRROR-​because I am taller sitting in the driver’s seat. I have never had to do that after a chiropractic appointment-​only after a Svaroopa Yoga session. I feel taller and my boyfriend said I looked taller sitting in the car. All this time I have been crumpling into the seat like a ragdoll. I felt planted in the seat this time. I feel strength and power in my body again. I have seen about six chiropractors and never felt like this. I have never felt so cared about by any medical professional, chiropractor or otherwise. After my first visit, Dr. Morales called to check on me. She gave me her cell phone number to call her if I had any pain or problems between visits. I texted her on a few occasions when I was in pain and she responded immediately with effective steps I could take at home to relieve my discomfort. She has accommodated my schedule without hassle. This is the first chiropractor i have ever seen in 15 years that developed a treatment plan with a clear outcome and periodic X-​ray evaluations to monitor progress. Another chiropractic first is her education class on spinal health and holistic wellness to support chiropractic treatment. Dr. Morales does not take insurance because she doesn’t want someone behind a desk dictating treatment to her patients, so she works with you to develop a reasonable financial installment plan to make treatment accessible and affordable.
This is the first business I have ever patronized that I can’t find anything negative to say.
