I remember going to the Escondido swap meet 15 years ago as a kid. I remember how big and crowded it used to be. But now it’s a total disappointment. –There’s is almost no sellers anymore, place is like 20% occupied with sellers and the rest 80% is empty. –Most of the sellers are selling junk that is most likely from China. –You can walk and see everything in like 15 – 20 minutes, if you stop and look at people’s stuff. –Fruit stands are okay, you can find some decent deals. –Food court area is good, you have great selection of Mexican food and Chinese. This place would be 5 stars if it was the swap meet I remember as a kid in the 90s. But now it’s not really worth going, unless your there to buy something to eat. But not even the food court can save this place from getting a 1 star.

Made in China cheap clothing Great fruit stand, but no organic selections. There are some decent looking mexican food stands. Just no vegetarian choices. Fresh made LARGE tortillas looked like the best thing going.

I attended this place last weekend. Sadly to say I was disappointed. There were«no sellers» walked around the whole place in 10 minutes. This place is not where you want to go to walk around and shop. On the other hand; the few stand that were there happened to be food stands. They are all located in the same vicinity. Smells delicious when you are walking by from tacos, bacon rolled hotdogs, menudo, pozole, frutas and elotes. Most of the shoppers were gathered around the food stands. It seems like people just come here to grab a bite and go on with their day elsewhere. The food was good(3 stars) but not good enough to save this place from getting only one star.

Came here for the first time tonight and I LOVED it! Had an elote, bacon wrapped hot dog, al pastor taco and a mango with chamoy y chile(fatty moment). I will most definitely be back=)

This place is more depressing than visiting a dozen funerals back after back. It’s like a game of Where’s Waldo looking for vendors. Definitely not what it used to be with rows of tents… You’ll have better luck just going to garage sales. On the other hand, the food and produce is still alive and well…
