Dr. Jeffry Kerbs is dedicated to providing the best that cosmetic dentistry has to offer. He practices in North County San Diego, serving Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, San Marcos and all of the surrounding areas. Dr. Kerbs has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years in San Diego and has perfected his technique during this time with thousands of hours of continuing education, achieving accreditation with the most prestigious cosmetic dentistry organizations.

Dr. Kerbs became an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2010, making him a leader in his profession of cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kerbs has also advanced his education through LVI, Kois Center and Progressive Orthodontics, all of which contribute to making him an expert in his field. Dr. Kerbs is dedicated to furthering his education every year in order to bring the absolute best that dentistry has to offer to his patients.

History

Established in 1989.

Dr. Kerbs graduated at the top of his class at Loma Linda University, one of the nations most prestigious dental schools. He moved to Escondido and set up his dental practice in 1987. Dr. Kerbs has spent his dental career training under the experts in his field and has perfected his skills in dentistry being recognized and awarded by his peers for outstanding achievements throughout the years. Dr. Kerbs is accredited through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, one of only 300 in the world have achieved this level of success. Through his dental practice, Dr. Kerbs has been able to transform the smiles of his patients. Time and time again his guests have said how their new smiles have literally transformed their lives.

Dr. Jeffry Kerbs has been practicing dentistry in the city of Escondido since 1985. He graduated with high honors from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1983 where he adopted their motto, «To Make Man Whole.»

Dr. Kerbs has always exhibited artistic abilities in sculpture and painting and throughout his scholastic career was encouraged to pursue the arts. This, combined with his love for science, led him to the dental profession combining both talents, creating the excellence he is known for today.

After graduating, Dr. Kerbs has continued with thousands of hours of education. He has attended the highly esteemed Las Vegas Institute and graduated from their Advanced Anterior Esthetics Course. Dr. Kerbs is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, making him an expert in the latest cosmetic techniques available. His efforts allow us to bring you the most effective options to help you achieve your dental goals.

I love this place! The are warm and friendly, and on top of the latest best practices. Dr Kerbs only uses safe material for fillings and takes extreme caution when replacing old silver fillings. Also the comfort menu is great! I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore.

Best experience! Very relaxing office and everyone is very nice. While you get your teeth done you are well taken care of. Dr. Kerbs knows what is best for you, I had gone to a different dentist in the past where they had messed up all my teeth after having braces for five years, my teeth were shifted/​overlapping/​my bite was off and now, fortunately; Dr. Kerbs is in the process of fixing them for me and is doing excellent! I also recently chipped my front tooth and he was there to help me fix it! Thank you Dr. Kerbs!

Great dentist. Very relaxing place with friendly staff who really care. I have been going here for years. Where else can you feel like you are at a spa while getting a teeth cleaning. Paraffin hand wax, warm neck wrap, blanket, massage chair and headphones with your favorite Pandora music selection… it doesn’t get any better than that especially considering we are talking about going to the dentist. Give them a try you will be a patient for life!

Dr. Kerbs and his team really care about your teeth! My husband was told by another dentist that he needed a root canal we brought the x-​rays to Dr kerbs and he said no you only have a cavitie. We won’t go any where else.

Finally out of my braces! Dr. Kerbs had originally said 2 to 2.5 years, and they came off in 2 years plus 1 month. The man knows what he’s doing. Also, he was crazy perfectionist about it, which I was happy about… and not just the aesthetic but the health of my teeth and the fit of my bite. My teeth look and feel amazing.
And this week I went and did the Zoom whitening. OK, it is not the most comfortable procedure, but Sarah and the rest of the staff make it the best it can be: pain meds prior to starting, a hand treatment, neck wrap, warm blanket, headphones with my fav Pandora station, and they never let that massage chair turn off. I did have «zingers» for the next 6 or so hours. And the next day my teeth were more sensitive to hot and cold. But 48 hours later they are just fine and noticeably whiter. Much whiter!

My wife, daughter and myself just had our 2nd visit with Dr. Kerbs and his staff this past week and it was just as good as the 1st! The staff is amazing! They are truly professional. They are extremely knowledgeable, informative and caring. I have learned more from the staff about my teeth and my daughter’s then any dentist in over 20 years! Even though we drive 45 minutes to his office from our home it’s been worth it. We have definitely found our new dentist that we hope to have for years to come!

If any of you are considering going through the process to get your teeth whitened with Zoom technology, please, consider my experience first. I was told several things: the process takes about an hour. There could be slight discomfort felt in the teeth during the first 72 hours, for which they suggest Advil or Tylenol. Your teeth can reach up 8 shades whiter.
Here was my experience: the process took 2 and ½ hours. During the treatment I experienced intermittent sharp shooting nerve like pain (similar feeling to receiving a filling with not enough novacaine) that literally took my breath away. This continued for 8 hours. I took Advil the first day, the pain continued. I am now 4 and ½ weeks out from my treatment and I am still experiencing constant sensitivity with my teeth. There is a constant dull ache in my front teeth and a sensitivity to cold, hot, and breathing cold or hot air. Honestly, it has been pretty miserable. Breathing in the shower, breathing in while running, drinking tea and water, trying to fall asleep in a cold room has all been affected! Friends, family, and myself find it hard to tell a difference in the color of my teeth. If there is a slight lightening, it sure is not worth the amount of pain, suffering, and financial cost of this treatment.
According to Dr. Kerb’s office, this reaction is not at all common. I am here to tell you that it is a POSSIBLE reaction and should be considered as such. I worry that there has been permanent damage done to my teeth, as I have NEVER experienced sensitive teeth like this EVER! And nothing seems to help.
We are bombarded with messages of how to look younger… better, smarter, less wrinkly, thinner, cleaner, on and on and on. Whether it’s whitening your teeth, or something else, consider the risk to benefit ratio. The Zoom technique obviously is not as safe as they are claiming it to be. Be wise. Make better choices. I wish that I had. I would take my tinged yellow teeth back in heartbeat!

Dr. Kerbs and his team are the best. I started going to him when I was a HUGE dental coward, back in 1991. I have never even considered going anywhere else. Twenty-​two years later, Dr. Kerbs has exclusively treated both of my children, from infancy into adulthood, as well. He is an amazing dentist, a wonderful person, and his staff is second to none. I proudly recommend Dr. Kerbs every chance I get.

Dr Kerbs fitted me with Invisilign retainers to straighten my teeth and afterwards replaced very old bridgework on my front teeth resulting in a new and much improved smile. He was patient and very thorough about his work. He never rushed the process until the result was to his high standards. He also went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure the final outcome was what I wanted. He is one of the few AACD accredited dentists in town, so if you desire the best outcome for a beautiful smile, this is the place.
In addition, the office and the staff is the best I’ve seen anywhere. The setting is more spa like than a dental office and the service from everyone is superb. In every aspect, this is THE best dental experience ever.

Dr Kerbs is great! I have been going to his office for about a year now and he and his stuff have been nothing but great! Everyone in there i super nice! They are concerned and pay attention to your needs. They offer warm scented wraps to put around your neck and even paraffin hand treatments to relax you while they work on you. They also partner with Care Credit which is great since dental is really expensive. I hate going to the dentist, but I highly recommend Dr Kerbs. He will make you feel comfortable and does a great job!
