If you haven’t gone here yet then you need to. They always have delicious horchata and all of their tacos are amazing! I’ve tried their chicken and asado and carnitas and they always have a lot of flavor, the salsa is a little spicy but the green one seems to be spicier and very flavorful.

I visit Mi Rancho Market whenever I need my taco fix. They are consistent with their awesome tacos. A good variety of different meats and beverages makes eating here a no brainer. The employees are awesome. However, getting a fish taco may be a hit or miss with this place. Not in terms of quality but rather quantity. They simply may not have it available.

Authentic, delicious street tacos, sold inside a little market. Lots of gluten free options, and low chance of gluten cross-contamination because they don’t heat their corn tortillas(which were fresh and soft), and they only heat flour tortillas in a tortilla steamer. The hubby, 4-yr-old son, and I each got different kinds of tacos, and we were all very happy with our food. Some casual seating is available. We will be back, probably every time we pass through Escondido!

So I always crave donuts and tacos go with everything so it’s always great to stop by here right before i get my donuts next door. I’ve tried the asada, pollo, and lengua tacos. Of the 3 my favorite is the lengua tacos. I was surprised since it’s out of my comfort zone but it was so delicious. The meat is tender which I prefer. Will definitely order lengua tacos everytime now. Mi Rancho Market is also great to grab some snacks too. They have a little grocery section. This is a great little spot in Escondido. Hopefully i’ll be back again soon.

Best tasting Tacos in town! this little market makes some of the best tacos I’ve had this side of the 8, 52, and 56. I’m very impressed at the selection of tacos they have to offer, they even have lengua tacos which are pretty hard to come by. I usually order the Adobada tacos here and always keep coming back for more. Since this is a little Mexican market you can also find some classic Mexican candy like mazapan and pulpas de tamarindo as well as everyones favorite drink, Mexican Coke… but make sure you pay attention to the label on the glass bottle because every once in a while they’ll have them imported from el Salvador and they actually taste a bit different… Anywho, Este muchacho approves the taste of the tacos here and will definitely become a regular customer.

Tacos are good and cheap. I give it 5 stars. I enjoy getting these for lunch. Salsas are tasty too. I’ve never shopped for anything else here but the vegetables look old and nasty. Just like another Unilocalers photo shows. Actually the fish taco tastes cheap like a cheap frozen fish stick. Almost no meat. So 4 stars then. They are some of the best in Escondido. I still prefer Tacos Alex in san marcos for best tacos around. Since this is in esco and close to home ill make do with this.

I love this little Mexican market. They have great tacos. This is a great hidden gem in Escondido. It’s located right next door to petersons doughnuts. The tacos come with 2 tortilla Los on each so you can actually make them into 2 tacos. Enjoy!

Looks are deceiving but don’t let that stop you from trying the tacos at Mi Rancho Market. This is a locals only spot for $ 1.39 tacos made to order. I recommend; Cabeza(probably some of the best I ever had, very tender) Saudero(Inner thigh meat, stringy but very flavorful) Chicharron(ALWAYSBLAZINGHOT!) Carnitas Asada Al Pastor(I can’t eat it, allergies to Pina but this is all the Kids ever order) Grab your drink from the cases before ordering so you don’t look like a noob, having to look around confused when you realize after you just ordered and are about to pay and need to step out of line, while us regulars look at you like«come’on hurry up I want to order my tacos». LOL Seriously this is a place worth trying, I see all types of people from different backgrounds, because it’s simple, tasty good food.

Great find for some authentic style street tacos. Carne, Adobada and Carnitas were all flavorful. The Carnitas was my favorite by far. I tried the medium salsa which I believe is Spanish for molten lava! It was HOT! The green stuff marked Hot will probably remove rust from just about anything. The tray must be lined with lead. Stick with the Mild sauce if anything. Your poo chute will thank me for it. Simple tacos, just meat, cilantro and onions on killer corn tortillas. PERFECT! Definitely will be back.

BRAINS! yep! They sell«tacos de cesos”(brain tacos). Don’t be a wus, try them! Personally i love them. Its the onlu way i can eat brains and not get arrested. People are not exaggerating when they say these are the best tacos around. I dont know if they are the best in San Diego tho, i doubt it. They are however the best in North County! The market itself is old, torn down, and the vegetables they sell are soo not fresh. They dont sell beer either but they sell good mexican refreshments like Jarritos. Staff is usualy friendly they do get busy so dont expext friendliness, expect fast and efficient service, oh yeah. and delicious tacos! They have a yummy broth that is called consommé, its basically fatty broth. Yum. Heart attack never tasted so good. For dessert go to Petersons :)

By far, these are the best tacos in San Diego I’ve ever had in my life… and I’ve had a good amount of tacos in my life. Their service is great, they’re not always friendly, but they do what do to get you your food. I’ve had a couple occasions where I didn’t get the right order but didn’t say anything because everything there is good. Plus, I feel like they’d get super mad if you told them you got the wrong order. All in all, the tacos are absolutely delicious and always fresh. I like to use the«super hot» green salsa on my tacos. I feel like the flavor and kick of that salsa is unmatched any where else, it’s damn good salsa. People think I’m crazy drenching my tacos in that sauce, but I don’t find it THAT spicy. People be trippin’, can’t hang with the spicy foods…

YUM! After hearing how awesome the tacos and service was through a friend, we knew that we had to have Mi Rancho cater our baby shower. Thanks, Joyce and Regan for the recommendations. The owner, Jose made the whole process easy and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We had a choice of 3 meats, 2 drinks, rice, beans, full salsa bar, plates, napkins, and utensils are provided. Filled out the form and a deposit that went towards the total cost for catering. We asked for dinner to start at 6p and he would arrive at 5:30p to set-up. Done! He was booked and we left the market happy. Finally the day came and as promised, Jose and his staff arrives right at 5:30p. I was completely blown away and appreciated how punctual he was. You can tell he has been doing this for awhile, because he was really efficient setting everything up. Right at 6p he was ready to serve our guests. Our guests had the choice of carne asada, pollo and carnitas. All three were fantastic, but carnitas was hands down my favorite of the three. As for drinks we picked hochata and aqua de fresa; both tasted delicious and refreshing. Catering service was for two hours and for 60 people, it was plenty of time for everyone to stuff their faces and then some. Coming down to the end of the 2 hours, Jose and his staff packs up all the left over food and drinks for you to enjoy. My husband and I were very pleased with their food and service. We look forward to booking them for our baby girl’s first birthday.

HOLYLENGUA! I’ve heard from several friends about the amazing street tacos this place has so I had to see for myself. I walked into the market and went towards the glass case to view the various different taco meats. Although everything looked amazing, I opted for the carne asada and the lengua tacos. The carne asada taco was $ 1.39 and the lengua taco was $ 1.99. The lengua taco was my fave out of the 2. The street tacos come with 2 corn tortillas each so I split the taco filling into 2 tacos to make it seemed as if I had 4 tacos! SNEAKY!!! Ya, so I wanted to trick my stomach, too(Darn Diet!). The flavors were amazing and the meats were tender and juicy! They ask if you wanted onions and cilantro. YESPLEASE! They salsa bar had several sauces, but the tacos didn’t need salsa because you’d take the flavors away. Besides the salsas are HOT. The service was friendly and luckily there was no line. There are several tables available inside the store to eat your deliciousness.

I usually order 3 or 4! plenty of salsas for your choice of spicy level. usually they asked if you want cilantro and onions with your tacos. YES please! debit cards are accepted. I love the atmosphere of this place, the TVs is usually playing some novela or spanish tv show, lots of produce, meat, and overall mercado atmosphere! they just added new refrigerators!!! of course, gotta wash down the awesome tacos with a coca cola! usually come here once or 2 every few weeks! If you’re on the hunt for the best street tacos, look no further… You must try Mi rancho market! Our friends introduced us to this place and we ended up going two days in a row. The carne asada street tacos with cilantro and onion are insanely delicious — and they have fresh cheese that they’ll top the tacos with if you ask for it. Prices are really reasonable, two tacos for less than $ 3, and they don’t skimp on the meat. Both times we were there, everyone working had really great attitudes and seemed happy to be there. Five stars, seriously can’t wait to go back. p. s. — don’t forget to buy a bottle of mexican coke!
