Dr. Cooper grew up in Escondido attending Juniper, Del Dios and San Pasqual High School. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northern Arizona University and the Southern California College of Optometry where he was one of 20 to graduate «with distinction». He and his wife Kris live in Escondido and have two children, Paige and Trenton.
Dr. Cooper joined with Dr. Manell in 1995, returning to his hometown. Dr. Cooper specializes in contact lenses while also incorportaing low vision and vision therapy services into his total family care services. Dr. Cooper is also active in the community with the Escondido Rotary Club. He is a member of the Downtown Business Association and Escondido Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Cooper is also a member of Mission Hills Church in San Marcos. Dr. Cooper spends most of his free time with his children watching their sporting events, playing golf and boating.
