We carry Vintage & New Vintage inspired (Pinup & Rockabilly) Clothing and Accessories for men, women and children. Pinup Culture is not just about our boutique this is also about bringing back the Pinup and Rockabilly era. We sell vintage merchandise and rent out costumes. We coordinate birthday parties, weddings and offer photography as well! We provide full salon services and barber services! We have In-​house photographer and pinstriper! We are aiming to be a one stop shop.

Right when I walked in I was greeted very nicely, I came to get my bangs trimmed and Shyanne did a great job. I always go to another place to get my bangs cut and it’s always a hit or miss but Shyanne perfected my bangs and they were beautiful. I’m going to get a full haircut soon hopefully with shyanne so I’ll update my review if my experience changes which I highly doubt it will. I love how Shyanne wasn’t awkward at all and also was funny, I hate having a silent awkward haircut experience and she does not provide that!

My 5-​year-​old daughter and I had our hair done by Shyanne for my vow renewal, and start to finish, the experience was WONDERFUL. She was a fantastic stylist and super sweet and adorable to boot. My hair lasted all day and night– and I partied HARD. Can’t beat the reasonable prices either. Just perfection.

Had a great experience at Pinup Culture. Because I had only a short time and lot to do, I had two stylists booked so that hair and makeup could be done simultaneously and Shyanne and Jenn worked well together and did a really good job, transforming me into a vintage glamour girl. For hair and makeup, the cost was $ 100. It was kind of fun and felt like being pampered. Important to note, though, to get to the salon portion of the business there is a rear door and since the store didn’t open timely, we were behind schedule a bit so I was a little late to my event. Luckily Jenn texted me when I hadn’t shown up at the back door to let me know. I also really appreciated both of them helping me with selecting which of the two dress options I had brought were right for my event and helping me to pick my jewelry. It was nice to have someone help me make those decisions. Overall, it was a really fun experience.
In addition to the salon, the front of the business is a store that sells lots of great vintage clothing and accessories for both men and women. SOOOO cute. A little pricey, but they do have some pretty decent sales and clearance. Really great vintage dresses in all sizes that make me drool. Definitely check it out.

I have been here a couple times and of course they always have the best customer service! Very friendly and definitely make me feel welcome. I’ve bought two dresses here and absolutely love them. If you haven’t been here I would stop by! And their music is great, which is a plus while shopping :)

This place is amazing. I don’t dress up often and the girls here were so happy to help. The clothes are adorable with many in plus sizes! Wooo hoooo! They had so many suggestions and I felt like I was being pampered. I also had my hair styled here and they did an amazing job. That night I was part of a Pinup Contest and I won 3rd place! I was amazed. They made me look and feel like a bombshell. I can’t wait to go back!!!

I love this place! Yesterday i went to get a haircut at their salon and shyanne was the girl who beautified my hair. When i went in there my hair was boring. I had wanted an inverted bob for a long time already but i just hadnt found the right person who could do it for me. Shyanne was well recommend so i decided to give her a try. She was friendly and there was lots of communication so she did everything right. Also she was very detailed and took her time. At the end she styled it and i ended up loving it. Today i got 5 complements on my hair. I really recommend shyanne as a hairstylist. Their prices are good and you come out satisfied!

I had the easiest swimsuit shopping experience here! I normally shop at large chain stores and spend hours in the fitting room just to settle for something that I’m «okay» with. But within an hour of walking into this shop I found two swim suits that I fell in love with! The best part is that they actually carried tops that fit the «girls» just right which is my usual problem. The fabric feels great and I could tell they were well made. They are a little pricey but I honestly didn’t mind because the quality and fit is far above my expectations. The other clothing they have are super cute too! I also loved that it is family owned. I will be a returning customer.

Such a great store!!! They have an amazing selection and super wonderful staff. Cherry was so helpfull with out being too in your face. I had so much fun trying on dresses and Cherry helped me match shoes and belts. She also pinned my dress for me so I could drop it off up the street at the fantastic tailor they have an association with, (thanks Ivan!). They know their inventory so can tell you what they have in what size to make shopping efficient. I got a wonderful outfit of a 40’s style dress, shoes and vintage earrings for my daughter’s engagement party. Also picked up an additional dress and top because they were so cute, and I got it all for under 185.00!!! They have true vintage pieces and pieces that are a little more main stream with a nod to vintage. A GREAT STORE!

This place is awesome. Walking in makes you think you have stepped right back into the 50’s. From the clothing, handbags, and poodle skirts, to the barber, salon and photo studio… seriously why would you go anywhere else!
If I could give 10 stars I would! Definitely a gem to seek out in Escondido!

I love this place. Walked in and got outfitted in the coolest dress for a curvy girl I could imagine. Amiska’s, the owner, has all the style and class the place needs to have you walk out of there looking like a cross between Marilyn Monroe and Scarlet Johansen.

I’ve driven past this place a million times and finally decided to stop in for the first time tonight. It’s amazing! The people working were all super helpful, and I love that they’re dressed in the 50/60’s attire! Good music, cute clothes and accessories, I definitely have to make my way back there!

This place Rocks!!! My wife and I are vacationing from Los Angeles and we just happened to come across this gem! Approaching the shopy, you get transported back to the rockabilly era with the awesome display of drag cars parked ouside. They have it all and my wife was going bonkers! BUT thats not the fascinating thing, the service we recieved was ALSO retro! Prestine, genuine & 5 star service from what I believe were the owners. Mos def coming back whenever were in the San Diego area. Great job guys!

I was so excited to see this shop on Grand Ave. in downtown Escondido. It’s just what the street needs. The shop is really cute with great, reasonably priced 1950’s style clothing. The dresses are adorable if you’re looking to dress up, but I really love the great selection of blouses and t-​shirts to wear with pedal pushers or rolled up jeans. They also have a bunch of cute accessories including necklaces, purses, and hair pins. The owner is so friendly and helpful, too! Bonus: they have swing dance classes on Thursday nights at 7 — I can’t wait to go to my first one.

Assholes need to invest in a clock! I drove over an hour to come here to buy a super cute baby onesie I saw here last time I was in Escondido. I arrived at 5:50. There was a sign with their hours that said they closed at 6, but all the doors were locked and there wasn’t even a person inside! It takes a lot to close a store. You have to plan ahead to close early. So I’m guessing these assholes decided that customers aren’t good enough to keep their store open. :)
It is a cute store, though.
