History

Established in 2000.

Frustrated when working with a national reseller that declined to work with small businesses, Bill Durney set out to help the smaller business customers with their computer needs.

Over time, the company has grown to include many dedicated professionals and can provide on and off site computer service.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

CEO and Executive Engineer Bill Durney has been involved with computers for more than 32 years and has been an Information Systems leader for such corporations as Chart House Enterprises’ corporate office, where he worked with PCs, networks, and mainframes. He managed both the IS production department and technical services department. Following, he worked at a national value-​added reseller — Entex Information Services, assisting many customers in San Diego, both large and small. His jobs varied from working at customer sites as an engineer and later managing the team of engineers and customer relationships. He was responsible for service offerings, ensuring the clients’ needs were met. Bill is a Microsoft Certified Engineer. In 2000, Bill and Mona Durney started Durney Consulting, and then incorporated under its current name; Rancho Computer Networks, Inc. Bill’s unique talents combine his excellent rapport skills and his impeccable knowledge of the computer service industry.
