History

Established in 2007.

RKM Martial Arts started with 20 students at the YMCA 8 years ago and now has over 130 students and over 25 Black Belts. We are currently members of the U.I.T.F. and report to 8th degree Master David Karstadt from Karstadts Taekwondo out of Phoenix Arizona.

My love of the Martial Arts and helping people to obtain their dreams lead me to pursue a career in the Martial Arts. Watching students develop in to the best they can be and obtain their goals has been a great joy for me. I plan on continuing to help my students reach their goals for as long as I am able.

This is a wonderful tae kwon do studio to take your kids to. Mr. Pelicio has a wonderful staff of black belts that work well and are very patient with the kids. My daughter usually trains with Mr. Atesalp who is a great teacher especially with the sparring classes. She’s learned a lot training at this studio it has also taught her self discipline. I’m very impressed with my daughters training and am looking forward to seeing her compete in her next tournament. They also host parents night and birthday parties if you need a place to throw a party.

My daughter has been training with the owner, Mr Pellicio, for almost 6 years. She was a very wild, high energy child when we started. She is now a very disciplined martial artist with a black belt. I really like that she still has an unending amount of training to keep her busy and focused. She also now helps train the 4 – 7 year olds, in addition to her black belt classes. She has also started training in Jiu Jitsu on Saturdays with Mr. Vargas, and she absolutely loves it. They also offer birthday parties and parent’s night outs, in addition to tournaments with other studios.
