Four years ago Jonatan Chavez and Corey Seymour, both factory certified master technicians, formed San Diego Bimmers which specializes in service and repair of BMWs.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 2 years and I trust San Diego Bimmers to work exclusively on my BMWs! Recently, I bought an E36 328is and I’ve had both Jon and Corey work on it to get it back into shape. They’ve easily been able to diagnose issues and have taken extra special care of my car. They clearly explained each issue, and took the time to describe what my car needed and why. The latest issue was, unfortunately, the head gasket. Many people might choose to walk away when they hear those words, but I feel confident in the guys at San Diego Bimmers, and I had them bring my car back from the brink. Corey tackled this enormous job and now it purrs like a kitten. The motor even feels much stronger! I plan on keeping this one for a long time now.
My car is going to need some suspension work soon (its almost 20 yrs old). San Diego Bimmers is the only place I’ll bring it.

Found Jonathan at SDB through my brother who said nothing but good things. Brought my N55 in because it was leaking fuel from the tailpipe. Jonathan was honest and took care of me. Got my baby back sooner than anticipated. He’s my new mechanic. Definitely recommend SDB

Updating my review because my old E30 I always trusted the guys with is no longer in the family. RIP. BUT the good news is, I recently obtained another E30 and of course continue bringing my cars to SDB. The newest car had a lot of issues and Corey didn’t hesitate to take on all of them. He did a full motor swap on my 1989′ BMW and lowered it for me. Continually great service from these guys at an honest price.
Something else new for my updated review, they’ve been offering special discounts for check in’s and/​or Facebook flyers, etc. If you keep up with them you can snag some pretty helpful discounts. Always a plus for a young, working BMW owner.

WORST MECHANICS EVER!!! I would not even call any of them mechanics, rather inexperienced and incompetent. Spent $ 3400 and was left with massive oil leaks, broken parts, and stripped out screws and missing fasteners. Even Charged me for parts they never replaced. Had my vehicle for almost 4 weeks and acted as if they were rushed to do a job every other shop I called quoted they could complete the work in a week. Jonathan even said he would have my BMW X5 back to me in 3 days but turned into 3 ½ weeks and I had to hire another mechanic to try and fix most of the repairs they left me with. Ridiculous!!! Learn from my mistake. STAY AWAY STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHODY SHOP AND HATCHET JOB WORK…

Jonathan from SDB is the only person other than the BMW dealership and I ever let service my E46 M3 he is extremely knowledgeable and is very reasonable. If I could give this establishment more stars I would. Great job!!!

I have had my share of times where I’ve felt as I’ve been taken by car repairs and maintenance. However this was not the case when I brought my BMW to this establishment. They got me in quickly, called me with an estimate a few hours later and charged me a good price to fix my radiator and oil leak. Because my car is a BMW I thought I was going to experience a short financial set back but suprisingly their price was fair and the workmanship meets BMW standards. I will definitely be returning for all if my BMW repairs and maintenance.

The only other hands I trust on my BMW besides my own are Jonatan’s and Corey’s! I’ve owned two classic 5 series now and they both were taken care of greatly by these two! If you’re looking for a reliable shop for your BMW and are looking to spend less than you would at the dealer, I highly recommend coming to these guys. Your car is worked in a nice indoor space and they won’t bullshit you about what’s going on with your car. They definitely know what they’re talking about! It’s hard to find a nice honest mechanic these days!
