Scoobe Doo Pet Mobile Grooming

I will never, ever know how Kim was able to groom my scruffy little guy. My wife and I adopted a dog with an unknown history, and we don’t actually know what he is. Whatever he is, he has lots of fur! He is a loveable little pup, but he draws the line at grooming. I can’t approach him with scissors without him going absolutely berserk. Kim somehow got a few pounds’ worth of hair off of the little guy, and I just don’t know how she did it. I would absolutely recommend Kim to others.

Our dog looks and smells amazing! Our dog is a large dog who sheds a ton. She also hates going to a groomers. We decided to try this mobile grooming option and will stay with her for sure. My dog was happy and calm and is beautiful now. Thank you, Kim.

This is the absolute best dog grooming I have ever had with all the dogs I have owned in my life!!! New to the San Diego area I have looked & tried them all! My dog «Bella» just loves the approach, care & professionalism that is given! She is a Caviler with skin allergies that have much improved! I can’t say enough good things! If your looking for someone, look no more! At least give it a try, you won’t be sorry!!!

Kim is great with cats too! She is very flexible about scheduling. I have my long haired cat groomed regularly so she doesn’t get hairballs. Kim is wonderful with her (needless to say the cat does not want to be groomed!) and kitty is so cute when she is done with her lion’s cut! Highly recommend Scoobe Doo! Much better and more reasonable than the big companies too.

do not waste your time on this woman. july 6, 2015 i called to make an appointment to have my 2 elderly, disabled toy poodles groomed. she made the appointment for saturday, july 11^th at 2:30pm… she emailed me later that day and asked if 4: pm would be ok because she was double booked that day. 4: pm came and went, she called at 4:15pm and said she was running behind and was 14 miles away. she then calls at 5pm and wants to know how steep my driveway is. i walk down to meet her about a block from my home and she wants to see the driveway. she decides it’s too steep for her suv to pull her small trailer. (this of course after she drove it up several steep grades to my street in valley center). the main reason i wanted the mobile groomer was to keep my dogs from having to spend 4 to 6 hours in a regular groomer shop. wanting them to have indivdual attention and get groomed asap, i agreed to drive them to her home in escondido on tuesday, july14th.
after driving 20 miles with my 2 old sick dogs, she wasn’t home. i knocked repeatedly, heard many many dogs inside of her home barking, but no kim. i then called her and got her voicemail. i called several times more over the next 15 minutes and kept getting the voicemail. finally, i kept calling until she finally picked up the phone. i told her i’ve been outside her house in the heat and humidity with my dogs waiting for her. she tells me to wait in the shade (there was none) and she would be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes passed and i left and drove home.
additionally, her yard, and area around her home reeked of dead, rotting meat (animals?)
i am also filing a complaint with the state licensing board. a woman like her does not deserve to be in business.
one of the reasons i called her in the first place was all the glowing reviews on Unilocal.as i looked at them again just now, many of the 5 star reviews are from out of state and out of the country. makes me wonder if these are paid reviews. how and why would someone from ashland, ky or vancouver canada have their dogs groomed in escondido?

our dog is in LOVE with kim. he literally gets excited seeing her trailer pull into our driveway and cries until we open the gate to let him go to her. bottom line is that kim really cares about and understands dogs. My dog has a coat that can get long and is very prone to matting, to avoid my dog having to tolerate an entire day in a kennel at a groomer, kim has taken to coming first to bathe my dog, and then returning after he dries (in the comfort of his own home) to actually groom him. her main concern is that my dog doesnt begin to dread the grooming process due to long waits in kennels and possible mistreatment or neglect. we feel very lucky to have found Kim-​and i wouldnt let one bad review due to a scheduling issue put you off, either. if you have a tight schedule, maybe you should just drop your animal off at Petsmart, or somewhere so that you dont need to worry about it for the day, mobile groomers encounter issues that they hadnt planned for, they work with animals and although i havent had one time issue with Kim, if i did, i would consider it a small inconvenience for what Kim does and her expertise.

Thanks Kim for the time, love, and attention you showed our family dogs. I apologize for the dogs being such a mess and causing you to miss you other appointment. I am truly greatful for time and expertise you orovided. I will definitely be getting on a regular schedule with you. For the person that was canceled because my dogs took so long, i am sorry. She would be worth another chance in my opinion. See you agian Kim.

I’m disappointed to The very least after calling today to confirm that I had a after 5 o’clock appointment I received a text message stating that she wouldn’t be able to make to my house till six and just a couple minutes ago I received a text message that she was going to have to reschedule me for next week because she had too much unexpected work today rather disappointed would not invite you to use at this point

We have been doing business with Kim for about two years now. We have a stubborn Siberian Husky. She does great with him. We used to bring him into pet-​smart, but he was so subservient after we picked him up every time. It made us wonder how they treated him. We had our first appointment with Kim and our Husky was instantly in love. She showed me how to get him over his paw fetish about cutting his nails (which also happened during the pet-​smart visits). Know he gets so excited to see Kim whenever she comes to groom him. Truly puppy love at first sight. Thank you for all the good work Kim.

I have two little King Charles Cavaliers I used to take them to raining cats and dogs but I was not satisfied with the service or the treatment of my dogs, I found this mobile service and decided to give it a shot, I called Kim and she returned my call promptly and we set up an appointment. Kim is so professional and she knows her dogs! She was so kind and loving with the girls. She really did a nice job on the grooming, they still smell good from last week! I would recommend Kim to anyone looking for an amazing service and a kind hearted animal lover to groom your pups!

She is very caring. This is not just a job for her. She loves her job and that makes a big difference between Kim and the «professional» groomers at the pet shops. And my dogs don’t have to wait in a cage for hours :)

She offers a fantastic service that comes right to your home — so your pet does have to go with trauma — she clipped all 3 dogs nails quickly and efficiently — then moved onto our very difficult case — Chico — she went beyond the call of duty and groomed him where he had matted hair from being outside and ears and butt yucky yucky and she turned him around into a sprightly remodeled version of himself — she is very caring and diligent and we highly highly recommend her for easy and tough cases at very affordable price.

We were having scheduling problems getting our dogs to our regular groomer, and our mini Schnauzers were becoming awfully scruffy. We perused other Unilocaler opinions and decided to give Kim a try because of what most say about her ability to figure out doggie problems.
All we can say is THANK YOU UnilocalERS! Kim is just… fabulous. Our usual groomer doesn’t clean their teeth as a matter of course, though he probably would if we asked him. I mean, he”s really sweet and we love him, but wow — Kim blew our expectations away with her grooming!
But our appreciation of Kim goes beyond the grooming. Our little female has had ongoing problems with toenails and we’ve been told various things by vets and others to try, to do, and to never do. Kim came in, figured our little girl’s problem out and got her squared away with no hesitation and NO PAIN. We’re just ecstatic that she isn’t in pain, that our dogs received one of THE best grooming experiences ever, and that they didn’t have to sit in a kennel all day waiting their turn.
The trade-​off on the dogs having 100% of their groomer’s attention is this — Kim will need electrical access and possibly some water for her water tank. She works out of a (nice!) custom trailer and brings her own electrical cord with her. We think the trade off is well worth it. She just can’t use that much electricity to run the clippers, a dryer and a fan inside her trailer.
It’s just so nice to have the dogs done in 1 hour each instead of not having them with us for a full day, the way it happens at other places — she can use my electricity any day.
We’ve told Kim she’s family now — she will have a difficult time getting rid of us.
One word — LOVE!

Kim was great. We used to go to Petsmart– but it was hit or miss depending on the groomer. Our springer spaniel can be a handful but had a great wash and trim with Kim. She was very loving and very personable. Will definitely use her again!

Kim is truly a professional. I was initially a skeptic because my 70lb pup can be a handful. She asked me to trust her and I’m really glad I did. Already scheduled a follow up in 2 weeks. Great all around service!

I met Kim for the first time today and I was amazed at the quality of her work as well as her admiration for dogs. When I called to schedule an appointment I told her my English Bulldog had a bad ear infection. She told me she would show me how to clean her ears more effectively and also recommended cleaning solution and medicine sold over the counter. Before I could even ask what the names of these products were, she offered to pickup the products from the pet store so that she could use them immediately during my dog’s first cleaning session. Kim went above and BEYOND my expectations and my dog looks amazing — especially her ears! Her service alone is worth it, but her advice and warm personality put her over the top!

Kim has been grooming my shelties for over two years. They are quite a handful – of fir that is. She is normally at my house for well over three hours. They always look beautiful when done. Not only is Kim a great groomer, but she is the closest thing to the Dog Whisperer in San Diego. She KNOWS her animals. Several times we’ve had issues with our dogs and she has been able to provide excellent advice, even saving me a trip to the vet. I highly recommend her!
