History

Established in 2013.

The parlor extended from a 30 year old beauty salon. Before the Parlor, there’s was and still exist the salon. The dates back 30 plus years to present date. In the last 20 years, it has belonged to my mom. And just recently in 2013, I took on the profession of barbering and extended to an adjacent location. The parlor is new but the experience is rooted in our family, I’m the 2^nd generation in the hair business. However, I’m the first barber in the family and first on having a barber parlor.

I’ve been a tonsorial artist since 2007, at the age of 16. I began doing haircuts for friends and family, soon I began cutting friends of my friends. I continued throughout high school till 2009, graduation. After some time off to focus on college, I returned to cut hair in 2010. While still in college, I was cutting hair too. Later, in 2012 I enrolled into a barbering academy to study and prepare for the state board exam in order to get my barber license. In August of 2013, I went to Glendale for my exam and passed, I received my license that same month. From then to present year, 2014, I opened my own barber parlor and focused on serving the public traditional shear haircuts and straight razor shaves. Currently, I’m still expanding my knowledge and sharpening my skills to provide the best I can do. I go to expos and barber classes to learn more techniques and really refi
