My boyfriend and I were originally going to go to a well-known restaurant for Valentine’s day breakfast but decided to go here instead. This place was perfect! No wait, breakfast was fresh, affordable, and delicious! The fresh orange juice went perfect with the breakfast! Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time today, I had a turkey sandwich and the wife got a ham torta and an agua fresca. My turkey sandwich was incredibly average, nothing special, tasted like something I could easily make at home. My wife said similar things about her torta, she did say the juice was good, but it’s pretty hard to mess up fresh juice. May try it again and update review accordingly.

Cheap, fresh and tasty! Got a chicken torta for $ 4.99. it comes with lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, avocado, mayo, 3 thin slices of chicken. It also comes with fries and picked carrots/jalapeños. The torta bun is very good and soft however the chicken was a little dry. Overall, it was a good tasting sandwich. However, I don’t think I could sit in to eat because it was so hot in there with no AC; I was only waiting for about 10 minutes and I was almost drippin sweat!

This place needs to get its self together before it goes down hill. It’s at a good location and has potential. But the tables are ALL messed up and uneven. It’s hard to eat on them. The wait time is getting worse. No Air conditioning. I guess give it a try and see what u think

I use to be a regular at the fresita also in escondido but the owners sold the business and the owners are rude and prices went up! This place is awesome! I always have the turkey sandwhich and their FRESH juices can be blended with ice to be a smoothie. And it’s affordable. It’s a small hidden place but I haven’t been disappointed yet. My new regular spot.

I stopped in here for the first time by chance because Starbucks was closed, and I’m SO happy I did! When we entered, I first noticed how the facility was pleasant, and was impressed with how wonderful the service was. I had the multi-green juice, and my Grandmother ordered grapefruit juice with a chicken sandwich — which I have to say — everything was fresh, tasted amazing, and was super-reasonably priced! My only complaint would be that the T.V. was ridiculously loud, especially considering how small the place is. Not only did it make conversation with each other trying(we resolved this by sitting outside), but it made ordering rather difficult since all had to yell over it. Maybe it was an off day and I’m not so put off as to not return, but overall just seems like a poor and unnecessary business move — y’know? That aside, as mentioned I see myself frequenting here and I absolutely recommend this delicious little hideaway over ANY of the more mainstream«healthy» food venues!

Came here for the first time a few days a go. Tried to look for something healthy close by. This is similar to Que Tortas but they have different options for food other than tortas/sandwiches. My friend ordered an omelet and I ordered a fruit salad. My juice that I ordered was really good. Staff was friendly. Great spot for a good healthy choice to eat.

First time here for lunch. Staff is amazingly friendly. Food is reasonably priced. I ordered a ham and turkey torta(toasted sandwhich) and it exceeded my expectations… will definitely come back!

I pass by this place everyday on my way home from work and today I decided to stop by and check it out. I’m glad I did. The little place is very clean. I ordered the chicken torta and while the front desk lady I don’t think spoke a word of English, the young man making the sandwich did. He related to the front desk lady what I wanted. The sandwich was delicious! Tender juicy chicken, crisp lettuce, great french fries. I ordered my sandwich with extra jalapenos and while the Extra part was kinda skipped it was still an excellent sandwich. I will definitely be back to try the other food options!

Best tortas and sandwiches I’ve found anywhere, the smoothies and juice drinks are delicious and you couldn’t ask for better prices. Service is great too… Ask for Ramon
