Rodeway Inn

This place looks rundown from the outside. It definitely needs updating. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is the room was clean and the staff was nice. We were checked in quickly.

Hotel in need of repairs, complete with broken towel bar, missing light over the sink, water-​stained mis-​matched lampshades, smears and spots on the walls and a 3’x4’ unpainted patch on the wall and another in the bathroom. Ceiling was water stained and shoddily patched. One bar of soap to shuttle between the bathroom sink (in the bedroom area) and the shower. The bedside lights were unplugged for some reason, so we had to move the bed and figure that out. And this was in the Suite, which is probably one of the more expensive rooms!
The breakfast area was clean and neat. The free breakfast consisted of corn flakes, fruit loops, white toast and/​or small muffins.
The hotel is off the street, so it’s pretty quiet at night. The surrounding neighborhood (mostly vacant lots) looked marginal, but parking lit lighting was good. Price was reasonable at about $ 60 with tax. If they would just clean, paint and patch properly, this could be a decent budget hotel.
